Hello friends, how are you? I hope you've started this new year on a positive note. I extend my best wishes for the new year, albeit a bit late. Let's say this new year hasn't started in the best way for me because I had a small accident with the car, but fortunately, nothing serious.
However, today I want to tell you about something I did towards the end of last year, something beautiful because I don't want to dwell on the negative things that have happened to me lately. I went to visit a dear aunt of mine who practically lives in Florence. This relative is really fortunate because she lives right in the center of Florence. I envy her a lot because living in the center of Florence is not like living in the center of Milan, after all.
During the time I was there, there were so many people—I've never seen Florence so crowded. Anyway, the first thing I did as soon as I arrived in the city was to go to Le Managere, which is practically a famous restaurant and bistro located right in the center of Florence. You can experience a rustic-chic atmosphere, and I've always appreciated the quality of the products they offer there. I had my first Florentine breakfast there.
Then I took a stroll around Florence, admiring the river Arno that runs through it. In the end, even though I've been to Florence several times, including for work-related reasons, I must say that coming to these places is always something exciting. You can come a hundred times, but every time the emotions you feel are always different, and I find that to be beautiful.
Certainly, the photos I've shared here with you are just a small appetizer because I intend to share some museums I visited in Florence as well. You know well that I'm not a huge art and museum lover, but when I have the opportunity to visit these historical cities, I try to take advantage and explore these places too.
I hope you enjoyed my brief account and the photos I shared. See you in my next post, which will definitely be about Florence.
Happy New Year again to everyone, and see you soon!
