Today I am back with a travel post for you. Today I went to the National Museum of Singapore as I came to Singapore for training for my job. In between this work, I am traveling a little so that I can understand Singapore better and get to know everything. That is why today I went to visit the National Museum of Singapore. The National Museum of Singapore is only 30 minutes away from where I live. That is why I went for a walk. I will show you what kind of things are in the National Museum of Singapore and what the National Museum of Singapore looks like. I hope you like it.
Then I kept moving forward. When I went there, I saw some very old broken things that seemed to be very old. The amazing thing here is that these are still with us, it is a little unbelievable. Along with that, there were some other old things that I liked a lot. I really like going to such museums. This museum was very big and it took me a long time to go around. Then I went a little further and saw a thing like a microphone. There were more people there, they were watching what they were listening to with their ears. Then I listened to it later. Later I realized that you can hear the sound of the video that was playing in front of you through the microphone. This video is very old, this video is from when Singapore was not so beautiful. A lot of things were shown in this video.
Next to it were some things that were old or maybe they were left for decoration. We can find these things here too but they didn't look like they were very old. As I moved forward a little, I saw some more old things. These were some old clay things like before. I liked the things very much. Then in front of it I saw a stick-like thing but I don't know what it was but this thing looked amazing and this thing looked like it was very, very old.
Then I went a little further and saw a small screen. Where a very old video of Singapore was played and with it there were two microphones that I was listening to through my ears. What was it actually trying to say? This video showed what Singapore was like. What the people here were like. How they lived. Then there was an old thing with it, which was a sword. It looked amazing, especially the design was very amazing and it was rusty but it was very old. These things are still with us, thank you to those who found these things and brought them to us, maybe we can see these things through them. There was a painting with it that looked really amazing. Then I went a little further and saw an old broken plate. The plate was made of ordinary clay, but the design on it was really unique and extraordinary. I really liked it.
Then I saw some other old clay things with the same design on them but they were not broken. The one I was looking at before was broken so the design was not clear but it looked like it was really well made and it looked really amazing. There were some other things with it there were some coins which were very old and there was another design which I can't tell you the name of but the design was amazing. Then I saw something made of steel with it I don't know if it was very old but it looked like it was brand new then there was a map and next to the map there was a painting the painting looked really amazing
Then we went ahead and saw some more paintings. These paintings were really amazing. Then there were some old newspapers, which were probably historical stories from the old days or something else. I don't know. Finally, we went into a small hall where there were two or three pictures of people, and this person was one of them. This person was Sir Thomas Stamford Bingley Raffles. He was a British colonial official. Thomas Stamford is called the founder of Singapore. This picture of him was painted in 1817. This picture of him was painted by George Francis.
Then next to it was another picture of Major-General William Farquhar. He was a colonial administrator. William Farquhar worked under the East India Company and was the first resident of Singapore. Everyone thinks this picture of him was painted around 1830. Then I went a little further and saw another beautiful thing made of steel which was unique in design. I liked it. Then I saw some paintings with it which were very beautiful. I saw a big old bell a little further ahead. These bells were usually used by the Chinese. This bell was amazing to look at and was very big.
There I went a little further and saw many swords kept there. There were many types of swords kept there which were very old and I liked it a lot. Apart from swords, there were many other weapons here which were very old. Then I went a little further and saw another type of unit sword. It was really amazing. Along with that, there were some paintings here which looked amazing. Actually, museums usually show these things. That's why I thought I would go to the Singapore Museum and see what old things I can actually see there. I see a lot of things there and it's not possible for me to do this post in one day because I still have many pictures of this museum which I haven't shared with you yet. I still need maybe two or three posts to finish them all. I hope you like it.
