" ISLAS TRES ROSAS "
Heyaaah Hiveeers, Welcome to my #LakwatsaniIntoy Diary 019 | Discovering " ISLAS TRES ROSAS " Cebu, Philippines. A Tiny islet with a BIG WOW when you see it.
How are you Hivers, hoping you had a great day today. This time in my travel story I will bring you to a small islet located in the Olango Group of islands. It’s a kind of part 2 of #LakwatsaniIntoy Diary 018that happened Last October 4, 2020, with my colleagues who are enjoying the Island hopping. In this Travel story, I just want to emphasize this islet, Islas Tres Rosas. Though it is tiny in the middle of the Ocean it gives a remarkable impact on me.
The Islas Tres Rosas
The Islas Tres Rosas also known as “Buwag Bato” is suited in Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City.
It is currently owned by Cebu White Sands Resort and Spa and is 30 minutes away from the Angasil port.
Usually, this stunning islet is part of the island-hopping package when exploring the Olango Group of islands. The island is not in 6 main groups of Olango group islands but it is one of the islets that you will never forget when stepping on the island.
The island is just really small, it will take you 5 minutes only to turn around the whole island. There's a single hut erected on it which is the perfect venue for having a picnic or even an intimate occasion if you like. There are Trees on the island that also serves as a shield against the sun. It is not hot on the island even it is in the middle of the sea because of the Trees
We reached the island around 12:00 noon and it's good to do our lunch on the island because of the hut that we can use for our food. We are all amazed when we approach the island. The crystal clear water surrounding it is perfect to dive in. It is also best to do snorkeling around the island to see the beautiful corals and different kinds of marine life underneath the area.
The place is so beautiful to take pictures. The island itself is photogenic. We don't waste time capturing all the moments we have on the island. We do a lot of poses in every location. 😅. I feel relaxed on this island, Actually, I sat down in one area under the tree and close my eyes for a short time. I heard the breeze of the ocean and smell the fresh air of the sea. I imagine that I am alone on this Island and just enjoying the type of living I have. I also remember the fiction books I read before about the man trapped on an isolated island like this. It makes me smile to remember those things I just imagine before when I was young. I really love the place and for sure you will love it too when you visit it.
The island is privately owned by Cebu White Sands Resort and Spa, but no worries about the fee, as of now it is all free to experience the beautiful island. But be mindful of your trashes and leftovers. Be a responsible traveler anytime, just remember that thing.
