" New Discovery "
Hello Hivers, it's been a while since my last drop in this amazing Hive world. Hoping you are all doing great where ever you are. I've been busy with the outside world lately and can't collect more energy to write up my adventure here until this day.
Anyway, Im excited to share with you this time my adventure recently that you should know about. In the previous months, March 25-26 2023, our company team visited the Camotes Island of Cebu Philippines, and one of the itineraries we look forward to is the Islet Called Tulang Diot.
Tulang Diot Beach
An islet located five minutes away from the mainland of Camotes Island. It has a white and fine sand beach with a crystal clear ocean that attracts a lot of Travel Bums around the world to explore its magnificent beauty. There are few visitors on this islet and this place is perfect for the adventurer who avoids the crowd and looking for a chill and peaceful environment.
Its pristine beauty is heroin, you will be amazed and will be addicted to it. Our itinerary's schedule was ruined because all of us want to stay longer on this Island. Look at how charming the place is, Who else can resist this one?
This part of the island is managed by a private entity but it is wide open to tourists around the world. It has cottages for rent that are ready to accommodate you (they have an $8 to 12$ range of cottages). You can also set up tables and chairs under the trees or bring your own tent to have a beach camp which is perfect for this place. (The table and chairs are also for rent, it depends on the quantity and type of table you will rent)
If you're asking about Food, don't worry, the Islet has also a fine restaurant that offers fine food. All are affordable and for sure you will all love them. But you can also bring some food on the islet just like we did. (note the management asks for a corkage fee on the specific food you will bring on the island)
How to reach the Islet?
Tulang Diot Beach is on Camotes Island located in the northern part of Cebu Philippines. If you are in Cebu City, you need to travel for one hour to the Municipality of Danao Cebu, where the nearest port going to the Island is located. Fare for transportation will cost you $1.5 only if you ride a public vehicle like Bus or Jeep. But if you have a vehicle it will be more convenient.
After reaching the Port of Danao, you need to buy a boat ticket going to Consuelo Port of Camotes Island. Travel time is approximately two hours. The ticket cost is $5.5 only for each person. If you have a vehicle bringing to the island it has different rates depending on the kind of vehicle. And, when you reach the island there are motorcycles outside the port that you may use as transportation going to the area where the Tourism booth going to the islet is located.
The motorcycle fare is approximately $2 only. Then on the tourism Booth, you need to pay a total of $1.5 for the Environmental fee and transportation of a small boat going to the Island (Don't worry the boat transportation is already back and forth). And after five minutes only you are already on the gorgeous island of Tulang Diot.

Amazed in the Distance
Approaching the island, we are already amazed at how the island looks in the distance. It has a wide white sand shoreline and a turquoise color ocean that surrounds the island. It also has trees that shade you off from the sun.
The place is perfect for sunbathing, snorkeling, diving, and camping. If you did a solo travel or a group like us, You will surely love this place, and enjoy every minute of your stay just like we did.
