Remember Lara Croft? In 2001, there was a spectacular film that took the background of a game. The most iconic of the film, was hidden in a very beautiful place which is one of the wonders of the world and also civilization in Asia. Of course, everyone remembers the Tomb Raider film.
But, who would have thought that this drama was in Cambodia, it must have been very interesting and touching. I imagine how difficult it was to present the set, which took advantage of the world's civilization and amazing nature. In the end, after the film aired, I was able to come here after 14 years had passed. It was really a shame.
Ta Phrom Temple, is in the same place as the Angkor Wat complex. Being the most crowded temple I saw, where the Tomb Raider filming location was really filled with many people who wanted to take pictures on one of the really big trees. Of course, Ta Phrom Temple is famous for the tree that has roots and is one with the temple building.
In your opinion, what was born here? The building or the tree? Or both? Of course, this building used to be there from trees attached to the ruins of the building. This very large building has 4 main doors to enter and exit, but because of the difficult access due to the ruins and safety, there are only 2 doors that can be passed through.
Basically, this temple is a temple that has a fairly tiring area to explore. The reason is, there are so many interesting things about this temple, especially in its architecture that has changed since these trees have grown bigger and bigger and I am quite worried about how in the future this temple will be completely covered by tree roots that are getting stronger and stronger.
In addition, the design in this temple is also very different and more artistic, because I saw that every wall has very beautiful ornaments, full of art and believe me I was very amazed.
The temple that I think is the coolest of all the temples, the reason is that the surroundings of the temple are also covered by leaves from trees that blend with the walls.
The area of the inner building is also quite able to accommodate many visitors who come, whether to pray or visit. One thing I know for sure, there are many spots of headless Buddha statues, indicating that there is something in the past about the history of this temple.
Finally I came out from one side, right near a river. Ended with a fence with a fairly large Buddhist gate and a real Buddha face. It is really real, that there is a stone that can be carved to form a real face. Greatness happened here in the past.
