This post is for the #wednesdaywalk challenge and the #makemesmile challenge collaboration. This collaboration initially took place once a month, but due to its popularity, @tattoodjay (of the #wednesdaywalk) and @elizacheng (of #makemesmile) decided to make it a weekly thing.

As promised in last week's post, Enjoying Chapman's Peak Drive, I will share some more photos of our journey along Chapman's Peak Drive, Cape Town, South Africa. As planned, our journey took us to the Noordhoek Farm Village via Chapman's Peak Drive where we would stop over for lunch.
Just after we left the Chapman's Peak Drive Lookout Point, this was one of the first views we enjoyed while driving along Chapman's Peak Drive. At the time, I didn't notice it...as (1)we were driving, (2)I wasn't aware of it, and (3)I was trying to focus on getting some nice shots of the views around us... But, it was only when I went through my photos after we returned from Cape Town, that I noticed how visible the Slangkop Lighthouse is even from this distance as seen in this photo (in the centre of the photo). I shared some photos I took a few days later when we passed this lighthouse in this post.
Hopefully, the next couple of images will be able to give you an idea/feeling of traveling on Chapman's Peak Drive.
While my brother-in-law was driving, I was in the front passenger seat, capturing every moment to the best of my ability.
In the next photo, the bonnet of the car is also visible with some glare from the window... But it gives you an idea... It shows you that there are no long open road ahead of you. It is twisting and turning all the time, but with the most spectacular views all the time.
In the next photo, there was a lot of reflections in the window, but you can see the safety precautions right above the road to catch any falling rocks.
This road is also constantly being monitored and they close it immediately to any traffic as soon as it become unsafe to travel on due to fog/mist, or bad weather.

Just after the image above, I took the next shot, looking out to the right.
This is where we would be driving soon, just after coming out of a "tunnel" that we were about to enter soon. Keep reading, you'll see what I mean soon...lol.

Here you can see why I am referring to it as...the "tunnel". While you are passing through underneath some overhanging rocks, the one side remains open.
Here we were about to exit from the first stage of driving underneath a concrete "ceiling", before going through a second phase, and then driving under some solid rock which you can see in the background.

In the next image, some people are visible on the beach, enjoying the sunny weather.
We then arrived at our destination, the Noordhoek Farm Village, at the Noordhoek Village Hotel.
It has a strong countryside/farm-like atmosphere and is a very popular stop-over point for tourists, motor-cyclists, and cyclists alike. We even saw this visitor on horseback...lol.
We enjoyed lunch in this beautiful open air farmer's market.
I loved the simple, yet impressive architecture of the Noordhoek Village Hotel in the Background.
We spent a couple of hours at the Noordhoek Farm Village having an awesome time there.
