Hello World, Hello Hivers!
It’s Sunday that mean it’s Church Day! A day where we give time to our Savior! Today I went to church to praised God and prayed everything as well as thanking him for everything he gave on my life. Supposedly, I don’t have any idea what I will content for today but when I arrived at the church I get some idea to give you Hivers a little tour about some landmarks we have in our city.
But before I continue, I will just share to you some facts about our place. Danao city is one of a fast developing cities in the Cebu, Philippines that also have a lot of natural wonders as well as man – made places that best to explore. Danao City is also have a lot of barangay where you can see a different sightseeing places that you wanted to go for a chill. Danao City is known for the best pottery makers, beautiful natural sceneries and mountain campsites, delightful foods that many people would travel for to try every varieties of foods here in Danao City.
I will share to you an amazing pride of Danawanon landmarks that truly makes Danao City a one of the best city in Cebu City. It was indeed a pride of all Danawanons as it brings life to the City as well as to the people here in Danao to be one in developing this city. So I am proudly sharing this to you all Hivers!
First things first, the signage of the Danao City's tagline, the “SIDLAK DANAO” which means “SHINE DANAO”. This tagline indicates that Danao City will definitely continue to grow and grow even more into a beautiful place where people would be excitingly visit. SIDLAK DANAO signage helps the people in Danao City to be empowered and be more helpful to create and participate to improved and developed the city. Below the word SIDLAK DANAO you can also see some empowering words that explained the acronym words of SIDLAK DANAO that will truly enlighten the people in Danao City to create a unity team to achieved the goals of Danao City and will be more known to every places.
Sto. Thomas de Villanueva Parish – Danao City is a place of Danao City that all Roman Catholic Danawanons praised and prayed in . The Sto. Thomas de Villanueva Parish experienced a destruction during the past world wars happened but despite of all that, GOD is always great and he made things possible. Sto. Thomas de Villanueva Parish now is one of the churches in Cebu City that other people across different places would visit and it became one of the pilgrim church with a holy door or what they called "Porta Sancta". For now, the church was being renovated by the current priest they made the churches more wonderful and modernized to be more appealing and in honor to the patron of the city.
Lastly is the Plaza Beatriz, it is renovated in tribute to one of highly leaders in Danao City that also gave a great help to make the Danao City have a memorable past. The Plaza Beatriz has now became a mesmerizing dancing falls together with the Danao City music “Danao Here and Now” gave a captivating spectacle creating a beautiful scenery that you can see along the way. The dancing falls together with its colorful and vibrant lights gives hope and beauty to the place that will entertain people along the way. The Plaza Beatriz and its vibrant dancing falls will continue to symbolized the unity and hard works of Danawanon people’s life to be better, progressive and joyful. The renovation of the Plaza Beatriz was indeed a hope and vitality of life that Danawanon people deserves.
