I’m with my friends; this trip is for our final project, which is a vlog. We chose this place since it’s well-known. Even though we don’t have enough money for the trip, we still managed to get there. It’s a place that you want to come to again and again.
Travel hour
We rode a bus, and it almost took an hour to arrive at Hagnaya Port. We’re all excited. Rufilyn was the one who got all our tickets; we just paid her. We chose Island Shipping for our ferry ride. After a couple of minutes, we’re going to depart.
You can see each other’s smiles. Finally, a first-time trip with my college friends. It’s finally happening. We’re walking as if we don’t want to go home. We bring things that are good for two days.
There’s a lot of tourism inside. While sitting, there’s this one tourist that I can’t keep my eye on. I’m mesmerized by her blue eyes. I don’t know if it’s just contact lenses or if it’s real, but it’s very beautiful. Our journey almost took an hour from Hagnaya Port to Santa Fe. Finally, we've arrived.
Hello, Santa Fe!
We were picked up from Santa Fe Port by my cousin and her spouse, who then drove us to their residence. We had previously made plans to stay at my cousin's house.

An unexpected problem
When we arrived, we planned to go to Prince to buy our food. We made the decision to visit the market after purchasing Prince. On the market, a problem started that can almost fall us apart. We thought it was all okay; however, the mother of Rufilyn didn’t agree to take Rufilyn to my cousin’s other house since it was far away. Rufilyn suggested we pay for a for a rental room, but we declined as we don’t have enough money. It’s around 6 p.m., and as we wait for Kuya Andrew to pick us up, we’re all silent. Ignoring each other and just being busy on each phone. Andrew is my cousin’s husband. Rufilyn’s mother is calling; she answered it. After the phone call, Rufilyn started to talk, breaking the silence. She said, “My mom will be the one to pay the rent; are you going with me? ”My friends looked at each other, then looked at me as if they were waiting for me to answer. After a few minutes, we agreed to Rufilyn’s mother's offer. We’re thankful for the great offer from Rufilyn’s mother.
The Room
When Kuya Andrew arrived to pick us up, we told him that we were going to stay in a rental room, and he’s okay with that. We got our things at my cousin’s house and told her everything. We said thank you to both of them. My cousin guided us to our rental room since it’s not far from her home. She insisted we should bring rice so we couldn’t cook there, so we did. We brought her rice to the room.
When we arrived, the owner gave us the key. As we open the door, the coldness starts eating our system. As I looked into my friends eyes, I saw tiredness and happiness. My cousin came back, and she brought lechon manok. After the eating session, we decided to go to the beach. It’s around 8 p.m. Me and Angie are the only ones that swim on the beach, as the others prefer not to since it’s very cold. Around 10 p.m., we decided to go home to take a rest. We’re six, and there’s three beds; however, we decided to combine the two beds for the four of us, and the other one bed is for Mabel and Vergie. The air conditioning was not enough; the hotness started to fill the room, and the coldness gradually vanished. However, we still sleep well because of tiredness.
The next day
On the next day, we cooked for our breakfast and ate after. We went to Mangrove Eco Park, where Camp Sawi and Camp Wagi were. There’s an entrance fee, which is 75 pesos. Nevertheless, our 75 pesos were all worth it. 75 pesos turns into a paradise feeling.
Kuya Andrew was the one who took our picture here.
Come and visit now
Gibuwagan ka? Latay nalang dire sa omagieca
It was a very long bridge that has a lot of nice spots, including Camp Sawi, Camp Wagi, and many more. It’s an interesting place to visit.
The camp wagi, hoping na mag wagi din ako sa lahat.
Always dream big!
Mangrove Tunnel: I felt scared here since the ambiance is like plenty of bones
The camp sawi, goods for those who are brokenhearted, sa mga sawi sa lahat lalo na sa pag-ibig.
Subsequently, we bought accessories. I bought two necklaces, one bracelet, and the three accessories for only 50 pesos. I also bought one tote bag for only 100 pesos. After that, we stopped by at THE RUINS. Although it’s so hot, it never stopped us from our adventures. I bought a pearl earring there for only 50 pesos.
The ruins are far away from our room, yet we walked there to save money and to explore the place. On the road, we saw these flowers that made us feel like we were in another country. It’s so pretty, so we take a lot of photos here.
While walking, we felt thirsty, so we stopped and bought a mango shake. We continued walking and reached our room around 1 p.m.
Around 4 p.m., we decided to go to Sugar Beach. So we went there. We tried the kayaking on a crystal kayak, which is 300 per 30 minutes; it depends. After the great experience swimming, I’m not good at swimming; I must get drained.
Around 6 p.m., we witnessed how the skies perfectly changed color. A pretty sunset appeared; it reflected on the water. It’s so pleasing to the eye. Sunsets on the beach will always be my favorite scenery to look at; they are never boring to watch.
After that, we came back to our room. What a great experience! Afterwards, they wanted to go outside to walk and enjoy our last night; however, I declined. I’m tired; I must sleep. They went outside without me, and it’s okay.
The last day
It was Sunday, our last day. We don’t want to go home; our trip here is not enough for us to fully explore the place. There are still a lot of nice places that I want to explore. However, we need to go back as we still have a class. Around 9 a.m., we packed our things. Kuya Andrew was the one who accompanied us to the port. We’re sad; we’re finally leaving.
