Our day 2 at Oslob started as early as 5:00 in the morning. As soon as my phone beeped, I rose from the bed, fixed things, and excitedly went out to chase the sunrise. I headed to the shore, and graced my morning with hot coffee while enjoying the splendid view of the sun as it gently rose and beautifully shed light.

After the coffee time at the shore, I went back to the room, put on my swimming garments, woke my buddies up, and spent the rest of our early morning hours swimming at the beach. The water was refreshingly cold. It was a therapeutic morning bath. Also, we had fun, we were like kids playing with water guns, talking randoms, and laughing sillily. Indeed it was a perfect start to our day.

At 8:00, we had our breakfast, and right after prepared our things for an earlier checkout. We grabbed "photo ops" first before finally leaving our shelter for a day in the South.

We planned to leave the Inn earlier to spend more time with Sumilon Bluewater Resort on that last day in Oslob. We left at 9:30, hoping to get to the resort by 10:00 or even earlier.
Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort

There at the resort, from the mainland, we were transported to its island by boat transfer. It took us about 20 minutes to cross to the other side of the resort. The weather was perfect so the sail was just so smooth.

Since it was a non-working holiday, the resort was packed, good thing there was one unoccupied table left for us. There were many activities to enjoy at Bluewater Sumilon Resort. Aside from just beaching, there were Kayaking, Fish Feeding, and Mountain Trekking.
The surrounding was so stunning, the lush greeneries, the azure calm sea, and the cottony candy sky. They blend perfectly. It's such a sight to behold!

The sea was so inviting that right then, we jumped into it and swam. I so love the water, its coldness was relaxing. We really had fun, we stayed in the water for more than 2 hours before we finally moved on to enjoy other activities in the resort. We thought of doing the Mountain Trekking but we doubted if we could finish the trail on time, so we just went to the sandbar instead. The trekking might just be next time.

The sandbar at that time almost submerged as it was a high tide, it was not been highlighted perfectly. However, we still went on with taking photos and souvenirs, then swimming too.

At 2:00 pm, we headed back to our table, and started packing our things, and fixing ourselves for leaving. By 3:00 we were transported back to the mainland.
Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort was the highlight of my stay in Oslob. The place was awesome, plus the company was perfect. It was indeed a great time!
Going Back To The City

While we had a great time at the resort, our heading back to the city was a real struggle. Fiestas and rally campaigns were everywhere. The traffic caused us to stay longer than ever on the road. We left Oslob at 4:00, trapped in traffic for hours. It was somewhere in Carcar that we no longer moved for like 2 hours. At 8:00 pm, we were still in Carcar, our dog "Coco" was waiting at the pet hotel.
We fetched Coco at Furry and Friends in Cebu City, then went for dinner at IL Corso, as it was already a late night, no more time for cooking at home.

It was such a long day, we arrived home at almost 10:00 in the evening.
This is all for now. Thank you so much for giving it your time. See you in the next blog. Keep safe!
'til then,
