This place is also known as the Osmeña Reforestation Project because it keeps restoring and preserving after suffering from severe damage from mining. It is a research forestry station that is over 2,710 hectares and has lots of trees and animal species. This is situated along Manipis Road in Toledo, and the good thing is, this is the only access route to the man-made forest. For nature lovers and adventurists like me, this man-made forest is a perfect place to enjoy.
After a long drive we stop in this forest to have some rest and snacks when we on the place I mesmerized by the beauty of the forest it is so peace and calm I only heard the sound of the birds and the sound of the wind. There are also some people stop here to take a rest and relax. Because of my curiosity I roam around and I saw a stair going down and it just like I’m in the movie its like a jungle it’s a sanctuary. It is the testimony that nature is one of the most important parts of human life because it gives us peace, serenity, and everything that human can forget there worries, problem and make themselves relax, refresh and recharge. I also enjoy the cold breeze air brushing against my body coming from the forest. It is the place where we can connect to nature and appreciate how beautiful it is.
Not far from the forest is the Minipis Viewing Deck. They also call that mountain the sleeping elephant. This viewing deck is also one of place where lots of people visit to see this amazing view. Resting along the deck is also great. Here, everyone can chill while soaking in the beautiful wide view of the mountains. It is indeed a great place for families, friends, and even tourists.
For those looking to experience a serene and peaceful setting, you can travel to the Man-made Forest in Minglanilla, which is close to Cebu City. It is situated on Manipis Road – Toledo. You will get the chance to engage with the beauty of the forest and see how well it has been kept.
