Today I visited the Old Town in Budva, and it is unreal interesting and beautiful. The first thing I visited was the Church of St. John the Baptist. Until 1828, the church was used as a cathedral, and later still today for the preservation of landmarks such as the icon "Our Lady of Budva" or "Madonna in Punta".
Today, the bells of this church echo throughout Budva and the surrounding areas. It was built in the 12th century.
I continued, seeing a small church called "Santa Maria in Punta", which was built in the 9th century. The church is located in the southwestern part and is one of the oldest churches on the Montenegrin coast.
Here are some more pictures of the beautiful old town that I caught. Of course, there are souvenir shops in every part of the city. In one I saw interesting works, like this one from the picture, Nikola Tesla, cat, lion, wolf, elephant, ballerina 😁
Thanks, enjoy
