Beautiful place, center of Belgrade. Several beautiful sights and buildings make this part of the city special. It is very passable by traffic around the Square, which is special.
"Trg Republike" (Republic Squeare) is located in the municipality of Stari grad and old name is Theaters Square. It had such a name for the simple reason that there are several theaters around it and one on top of it. "Bosko Buha" theater is one of the most famous in this part of the city.
The National Museum is also a popular place located on the square. It is a beautiful building that I would recommend everyone to visit. It was founded in 1844 and is the oldest museum in Serbia.
And finally, something that is most impressive in the center is the Prince Mihail Monument. It was built in 1882 and is a cultural monument of great importance.
