Hallo liebe Community,
an unserem Abreisetag hatten wir uns bis zur Abfahrt unseres Zuges noch einiges vorgenommen. Wir starteten den Tag an einem Denkmal für die Toten der Terroranschläge von Paris direkt hinter dem Hotel de Ville. Beeindruckend und bedrückend zugleich. Etwas beklommen gingen wir weiter zu unserem eigentlichen Ziel dem Rathaus von Paris, dem Hotel de Ville, einem beeindruckenden Bauwerk im Stil der Neo-Renaissance. Gebaut wurde dieses von 1533 bis 1628, also in fast 100 Jahren. Es ist nicht öffentlich zugänglich aber auch von außen einen Blick wert.
Vom großen Platz vor dem Hôtel de Ville, dem Place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville, hatten wir den idealen Blick auf die vielen Statuen, insgesamt 148, die Persönlichkeiten von Paris darstellen. Geschmückt war das Gebäude mit Plakaten und Bannern zum Thema Respekt und Einigkeit. Auf dem Platz waren mehrere Tafeln verteilt, auf denen man die Geschichte des Rathauses von gestern bis heute nachlesen konnte. Schon sehr interessant, was das Haus alles mitgemacht hat in der ganzen Zeit.
Von hier aus gingen wir weiter und kamen an einem Blumenmarkt vorbei, der gerade seine Tore öffnete. Eine wahre Pracht, was es hier alles an schönen Blumen gab und die Läden waren herrlich dekoriert. Wären wir nicht auf der Reise gewesen, hätten wir hier sicher ein paar der in allen Farben strahlenden Blumen mitgenommen. Als wir eine Brücke überquerten sahen wir noch die Reste der vorigen Nacht, die gerade von der Müllabfuhr beseitigt wurden. In der Nacht zuvor wurde hier das Fest Fete de la Music gefeiert und die ganze Stadt war sozusagen unterwegs gewesen zu den verschiedenen Bühnen, die über die Innenstadt verteilt waren auf denen Live Acts aufgetreten waren.
Über die Brücke näherten wir uns unaufhörlich unserem nächsten und letzten Ziel der Reise, der prächtigen Kathedrale Notre Dame.

On our day of departure, we had made a lot of things until the departure of our train. We started the day at a monument to the dead of the Paris terrorist attacks directly behind the Hotel de Ville. Impressive and depressing at the same time. We went on a bit of striking to our actual goal of the town hall of Paris, the Hotel de Ville, an impressive building in the style of the Neo-Renaissance. This was built from 1533 to 1628, in almost 100 years. It is not open to the public but also worth a look from the outside.
From the big place in front of the Hôtel de Ville, the Place de l'hôtel-de-Ville, we had the ideal view of the many statues, a total of 148, the personalities of Paris. The building was adorned with posters and banners on the subject of respect and unity. Several boards were distributed on the square, on which the history of the town hall from yesterday until today were read. Very interesting what the house took part all the time.
From here we continued and passed a flower market that just opened its gates. A real splendor, what there were on beautiful flowers and the shops were wonderfully decorated. If we hadn't been on the trip, we would have taken a few of the flowers that shone in all colors. When we crossed a bridge we saw the remains of the night that were just eliminated by the garbage disposal. The night before, the festival Fete de la Music was celebrated and the whole city had been on the road, so to speak, to the various stages that were distributed across the city center on which live acts had occurred.
We continued to approach our next and last destination of the trip, the magnificent cathedral of Notre lady.
