| Au hasard d'une randonnée sans véritable point du chute, je me suis retrouvé aujourd'hui à Hortala, petit village d'irréductibles Cap-Verdiens perché juste sous la coiffe du Monte Gordo, point culminant de l'île de San Nicolau. De petites ruelles pavées, quelques anciens aux rides chargées d'histoire, et des gens qui travaillent leur maison, leur terre, mais toujours en toute tranquillité. Hormis faire partie des villages les plus perchés de l'archipel, les habitants d'Hortala sont également fiers d'avoir eu à ce jour 0 cas de Covid dans leur hameau.
