"Lapyahan" is a Visayan or the Cebuano's term for seashore or shoreline. It was the renowned name of the festival of San Remigio, showcasing the abundance of their Lapyahan, the Lapyahan Festival. The Lapyahan is a beach itself in San Remigio that offers a long coastal line with such beautiful white sand and crystal clear blue waters.

If you intend to go there via private car or any vehicle, from Cebu City you just have to take the Cebu North Road or highway northbound and drive for approximately 2-3 hours depending on the road situation and traffic; turn left at the San Remigio town proper; don't forget to follow directional signs and choose which resort you intend to go to. On the other hand, if you intend to go via public transportation, all you have to do is buy a ticket and ride a yellow bus to the Cebu North bus terminal bound for Hagnaya or San Remigio; alight at the municipality's town proper; and take a tricycle or habal-habal (motorcycle) to the Lapyahan sa San Remigio.

🏕️My experience!
My experience was indeed worth my time; the long coast, white sand beach, and it's crystal clear waters are truly mesmerizing. We really did enjoy our activities together with my friends at the beach. We do picnics and camping; we brought with us a tent in order to save some cottage charge. Overall, it was fun because I'm with my college buddies. Hoping to comeback soon, and if given a chance, I will still choose to go back even for the nth time.
Moreover, the Lapyahan in San Remigio, with its mesmerizing beauty, is not that crowded compared to many beaches; that's why it is perfect for people who seek a serene and quiet place to relax and unwind. Northern Cebu has really something to offer for everyone; visit the Lapyahan and experience for yourself.
