Hello, everyone!
For continuation of our Punta Almara adventure, I'll leave you first with a morning tranquil waters view.
After resting quite well in our tent, we woke up with the warm rays of the sunrise.
I love how fresh the seawater is that early in the morning.
Every deep breath we took was so crisp.
Plus the sound of gentle waves.
Nothing can beat this soothing melody.
Of course, it felt sweeter because I was accompanied by my lovely husband while we strolled along the shoreline.
We enjoyed how the warm rays of the sunrise felt gentle because of the cool air from the night's breeze.
We pause there, not only because we're posing for a snap, but also because we gaze out at the vast expanse of the ocean.
Watching the sun rise higher in the sky.
After our leisurely walk, we decided to take a refreshing dip in the sea.
The water was cool that morning, and we swam out a bit.
We float on our backs, soaking up the sun's warmth.
Using goggles, we looked down, noticing a cluster of rocks.
Our curiosity piqued, we dove down to explore.
That's when we spotted a stunning blue starfish.
It's five arms stretching like a celestial body against the ocean floor.
My cousin tried getting one, then discovered four more.
We brought it to the surface, watching in awe and observing it for a while.
After that, we slowly returned it to the underwater world, making sure it would not get disturbed again.
We couldn't help but feel grateful for that encounter with the marine wonder.
After that refreshing morning swim and encounter with the blue starfish, we relaxed first under the shade of a palm tree, snacking on local delicacies.
We indulged in a delicious Palabok snack that time, topped with a crushed chicharon (pork cracklings), and smoked fish flakes.
Also, the crunch of the peanuts gives a delightful texture.
With each bite, we also enjoy the sound of the waves and the warmth of the sun, while we unwind and recharge.
Thereafter, we decided to get back in the water and continue our swimming adventure.
We stroke through the waves, gliding effortlessly through the water.
This is a nice exercise. It makes our muscles relax and our minds clear.
Also, while we swam, my Aunt noticed a small fish dart past me.
I can't see it, but she's so mesmerized by it. Lol.
Time flew by, and before we knew it, we needed to climb out of the water to dry off.
We gathered our belongings and took one last look at the breathtaking view.
Just like that. The memories of our day at Punta Almara ended.
Again, Punta Almara is a perfect spot to share stories, laugh, and enjoy each other's company.
With our towels wrapped around us and our bags slung over our shoulders, we began our journey home.
