Visiting Sandira Beach was an experience, it is forever lodged in my memory. It’s that keeping gem which sits next to coastline and you won’t even know it’s there unless you end up in there by chance. The excitement call of the beach already settled on me, I off I set to go to the beach. To be excited for the sun to be felt and the warmth of the sand between my toes and the sound waves crashing against the sea shore. It was pretty as a drive to Sandira Beach. Lush greenery lined on the roads and everything the sun touched had a golden hue. I came close enough to the beach that the salty breeze in the air invigorated my senses. When I got there, there was the most beautiful turquoise water which went on and on until the horizon. The beach was less crowded when I was here which was also charming.
I could step out onto the soft, powdery sand and it was like a peace was instilled. The light of the sun was bright, but the breeze was quite gentle over the heat. I paused to verdantly seep in beach umbrellas colors, children laughters and seagull’s distant sounds. This was a great day to relax and re connect with nature. I settled in a comfortable spot before I decided to investigate shoreline. I collected seashells walked along the water’s edge marveled at the different shapes and colors. They were shells, each one seemed to tell their own story, reminding us what the ocean created. I could stop to watch the waves, roll in and the cool water lap at my feet. Something so cool in such a warm sun was refreshing.
I decided to sample the local coves and feeling adventurous decided to rent a kayak. Paddling in crystal clear waters was something exhilarating. And I could see schools of fish darting below me and once I even saw a playful dolphin in the distance. There was no serenity like mother of pearl traipsing through gentle waves and I was free. I went kayaking after which I came back to my beach spot and enjoyed a scrumptious picnic I had packed. The beach meal was fresh fruit, sandwiches and a refreshing drink. I was sitting there thinking that it is really important to take some time for yourself. Today reminded me of the beauty of slowing down, because hustle and bustle of the day to day life usually distracts us from appreciating simple things.
I was planning to go to see the sunset to the Sandira beach and was not tired, I knew I had to go. I stayed standing there with the rest of the beach folks who waited to see the whole sun slip below the horizon. The sky was painted with oranges, pinks and purples and the water glowed. Looking at it was really a breathtaking sight. Sandira Beach was certainly a very different day at the beach compared to any other day at the beach – it was not just an outing to the beach but it was something that brought the connection between me and nature. A day of adventure, relaxation and some really beautiful scenery. When I left beach I was not interested in any souvenirs, I was all in peace and gratitude. I will be back at the Caesar Sword Sandira Beach to make more whatever I make beautiful memories soon.
