Hello, fellow Hivers! How are you all? I hope everyone is doing well. I’m back with another travel blog! This isn’t a recent trip, it actually happened a long time ago. This was during my college days when my friends and I had a get-together. If I’m not mistaken, this happened after our second-semester final exams. We were so happy because, at last, another year was done, and we survived it! It was a well deserved break after all the hard work. 🤗
We used to have so many crazy trips back then! Every time we accomplished something, we’d reward ourselves even if we had no money! Haha! Cause we believed we deserved it. Yes, we loved going on outings, but we were also responsible students. We only went on trips when we had something to celebrate. No matter where we went, we always had fun because we all just clicked. Our vibes matched perfectly, and every moment was full of laughter and good memories.
At this moment, we were starting to feel a bit tired and sleepy. Haha! Earlier, we were so excited that the moment we arrived, we jumped straight into the pool without wasting any time. Since the place is very inviting, it is truly an amazing place. Luckily, the pool had a slide, so we had the best time! We kept going up and down nonstop, enjoying every moment. It was so much fun, and we even raced to see who could scream first while sliding! The laughter and energy made it all unforgettable!
During these times, the jump shot pose was so popular, so of course, we had to try it too! Even though the shot wasn’t perfect, for us, it was already amazing. Back then, there were no real standards for a great picture, as long as you had one and followed the trend, that was all that mattered! Haha! We were so happy and excited, even saying, "Yes! We finally have a jump shot picture!" It was such a simple yet fun moment!
Of course, I wasn’t going to miss out on the jump shot! I had to get a solo one because I was thinking of making it my cover photo. We were so happy with that picture! Haha! It’s funny how something so small could bring so much joy. Looking back, I never really felt drained during college days because we always made time to relax after all the duties and responsibilities as students. Small moments like these made everything worthwhile!
This moment! 😅 You can clearly tell from the photo that we didn’t have much with us on this trip. As long as we could go on an outing, that was enough! We didn’t have money since we were just students, so we pooled together whatever we had, sharing a whole roasted chicken and a few pieces of puso (rice wrapped in leaves). We even agreed to just bring rice to save money. But honestly, we were so happy sharing those simple things together, it made everything even more special!
This is a part I’ll never forget! We played a game, our own version of a pageantry. All the girls and even the boys were the contestants! It was so fun because the boys went all in, confidently walked the runway, some even outshined us girls! Haha! Each of us represented a different country and came up with our own sayings. We laughed so much and had the best time. It was such a fun and unforgettable moment that we didn’t want the day to end!
