The Charm of Heha Sky View A New Icon of Gunungkidul Tourism
Hi travellers, welcome to my blog again.
Well, I finally got the chance to take my mom and dad to Heha Sky View yesterday. They've been really curious about the place that is said to be able to see Jogja from the top of the hill. And really, the experience was really exciting!
When we arrived, what amazed us was of course the view. It was so cool..!! We could see Jogja from above. I wish we could go there at night, so we could see the city lights shining like a stars. It would be absolutely beautiful..!! Since it's quite far from home, we decided to go there during the day huhuhuu.
Anyway, there are so many Instagram worthy photo spots. The most iconic one is of course the glass terrace (Sky Glass) with a transparent floor. But because the three of us are scared, so we didn't take photos there hehe. In addition, there are also many other spots such as hot air balloons (iconic too), colorful seats, and glass bridges. It's perfect for those who like to take pictures.

For relaxing, there is also a bean bag area for "leyeh-leyeh" while enjoying the breeze. There are also food courts and restaurants, so you don't have to worry about going hungry. Yesterday we just ordered a drink and fries while waiting for the sunset, the atmosphere was perfect.
For those who don't know, Heha Sky View is located in Gunungkidul Regency. The road is now smooth, all asphalt. But yeah, it's also called going to the top of the hill, just be prepared for the road to be uphill and a bit winding. So before leaving, it's better to check your motorbike or car first, so that when you go uphill you don't end up wasting your time hehe.
DON'T COME ON THE WEEKEND !
Now, this is the part I think is most important for you to know. I've experienced it myself even on a weekday, it's already quite crowded. So I really can't imagine how crowded it would be on weekends or public holidays. There would be lines everywhere, and it would be less comfortable to enjoy the place.
My friend once told me that on weekends, there's a long queue for photos at the main spot. Not to mention finding a place to sit is difficult. So, it feels like you can't enjoy the serene atmosphere.
So my advice, if you have free time on weekdays, that's the best time to go to Heha Sky View. It's more free, quieter, and of course the photos won't be leaked by other people, hehe.

Anyway, Heha Sky View is highly recommended to visit, whether with family, partner, or friends. The important thing is to choose the right time!
Happy traveling..!!
Best Regards,

Who is Nur Satrio ?
Hi, I'm Tio, a lover of stories, whether written on the pages of a book, presented in adventurous games, or engraved in the incredibly beautiful nature of Indonesia. In my free time, I like to immerse myself in fictional worlds, build small worlds by assembling Gundam models, and explore new places that offer fresh air and soothing views.
For me, life is not about how fast we run, but how much beauty we get to enjoy along the way. I believe that every book has a universe, every journey has a story, and every second we spend in nature is a quiet expression of gratitude that calms the heart.
