Hey there, folks!
It's Mooon once again.
Last Sunday, I visited the Regina RICA with my childhood friends, and I would love to share my experience with you.
Regina Rica was located in Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal, and it was approximately a two-hour drive using a motorcycle. I'm with Jeff and Nico, we grew up together, and even though we are quite busy with our own lives, we still manage to make time to have a bonding, and last time we had our first long ride.
Jeff is already been there, so we let him lead the way, but before we start, we buy taho for our fuel, they call it soya beancurd with tapioca for conyo term haha lol.
Along the way we've seen a lot of riders and bikers and even fitness enthusiasts running on that day. We stop for a moment to rest and appreciate the beauty of nature.
Nico lost his way and there's no way to contact him cause there's no signal so, we'll wait for him on this visible spot.
We arrived around 11 AM, and I was amazed by this place, we decided to attend the mass first and explore after that.
There's an hourly schedule for mass, and we just made it in time. The interior design inside the church is astonishing I wasn't able to capture some photos cause there's a lot of people inside.
People are fetching holy water from this well, we look for empty bottle first and we filled it as well.
We explore Regina RICA and the huge Mary statue, we discovered that there's a lot to see under that statue.
We went for a Labyrinth walk and we finished it even so hot that day, I think it took us around 300 steps to finish.
It's a maze-like steps that will lead you to the cross, and it was so exhausting. The goal is to reach the cross by following the step using the brick.
Labyrinth walk will test your patience, and it's worth it to try.
A breathtaking view plus a good smell from scented candles are so therapeutic, and now we are ready to go inside the huge Mary Statue.
Well, unfortunately, cameras or any devices are not allowed inside, but once you go inside, you can witness a huge minimalist cross and an altar, the best place to reflect, meditate, and pray, so we take our time and pray instead.
And here's the exit!
So that's it for me, guys. This ride is so satisfying, and I'm just so grateful that I visited this with my best pals for sure there are more places for us to explore and I am looking forward to it.
Regina RICA is the best place for you to visit if you are seeking peace or simply need a quick moment of reflection; the silence and nature will touch your soul.
Thank you, everyone, for dropping by. I appreciate it! Let's catch up soon.
Till next timeee ...
Mooon out 🤙
