On the evening of Love Day last week, we managed to go on a spontaneous trip. My workmates have been eyeing to visit this park for a long time but we just can’t seem to find the perfect timing.
Let me take you to Aya’s Hill and Amusement Park, Baybay, Leyte
It is best to visit the place at night time so since we lived two hours away from our destination, we left our respective homes at four o’clock in the afternoon. We we’re blessed to have a favorable weather that day so our travel went well.
Aya’s Hill and Amusement Park can be viewed if you are riding on a vehicle on the way to the city. It is just near the street. Upon arrival, we paid fifty pesos or 0.86 USD.
Taken from the entrance.
You will get best pictures if you’ll visit here at night time plus you can save yourself from the scorching heat of the sun.
The place offers a peaceful hilltop escape, fun amusement ride, Singapore- inspired attraction, and a nighttime wonderland perfect for circle of friends, kids and kids at heart.
The first to greet us was the iconic Merlion Fountain. It is obviously smaller than the real one but it is cute. This is one of the reasons why the place is called “Little Singapore of Leyte”. I bet kids would love to dip at that small pool of water.
The are a lot of benches also perfect for when you want to have a small talk or a heart to heart talk with your loved one. I sat and my friend took a snap of me sitting in this cute banana bench.
Aside from the playground, there is also a Dino Island where almost all of the kids enjoy. They would never wanna leave this place and explore the other sights. They would just stay here or at the playground.
You’ll be in love at the mix of colors. The garden is beautiful because of the lights. The lush greens and the variety of flowers offer colors that are worth- feasting on.
The highlight of our adventure was the rainbow slide. At first, my workmates were hesitant to try it but after knowing that it only cost 100 pesos or 1.73 USD for the three of us to try that adventure, they happily obliged. It was the perfect activity that summed up our adventure. We shout our hearts out like kids and that memory was forever treasured in our memory banks.
Fun and enjoyment doesn’t have to be expensive. I spent roughly four hours at the place yet I left with my heart full. It is truly essential to allocate few of our time for leisure so as to avoid burn-out. It is just a relief that we get to see a view that is different from how we used to. I realized that we should plan for a time to escape and explore every once in a while so life would be more bearable and that we can be recharged and more motivated to start the new upcoming week.
Thanks for dropping by!
