Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you're all well. Recently, I visited Taman Mini Indonesia (Indonesian Miniature Park). It turns out there aren't just replicas of traditional Indonesian houses, but also a place of worship. This place is called the Kong Miao Temple. Like other temples, it's dominated by red and gold.
There are lions and dragons, animals believed to be sacred. This temple is relatively new to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (Beautiful Indonesia Miniature Park), as it was only inaugurated in 2010. It serves as a symbol of religious harmony in Indonesia. Oh yes, I forgot to mention that this place is clearly a Confucian place of worship.

This is clearly visible from the gate. I didn't stay long. I stopped by to accompany my friend to worship. I just looked around and took in the ornaments. It was also quite late at night.
There are three main buildings here: Tian Tan, the sacred altar; Da Cheng, the temple of the great sage; and Qi Fu Dian, the Temple of Blessings. The sacred altar symbolizes the perfection of heaven, with three levels representing heaven, humanity, and earth.
There's also a two-story structure that reflects Chinese architecture. This place is called Da Cheng. Then, there's Qi Fu Dian, a place of worship for the gods. The building is adorned with two dragons, a Confucian symbol, on the roof and has eight pillars.
This place also features an ornament called Hip Lo, which means incense burner. The gate is also guarded by a pair of lions, a qilin dragon, and a turtle. All of these symbolize spiritual protection. That's all I can tell you about this story. See you in the next one.
