One of my short trip to the city of Prague left beautiful impressions on me. I love various historical landmarks, and this city offers a rich history.
Prague is the gold of Proto-Slavonic culture, the mystique of the Middle Ages and Baroque. As you can see in the following pictures of mine, this is a city with very rich details, and almost everywhere something made of gold.
So old and modern, Prague is the city of eternity. In it, everyone can find something for themselves, explorers of the mysteries and secrets of the city of medieval Europe. Sausage and beer lovers, because there are pubs in the city, both old and new.
On the streets of Prague you will surely meet the residents who are casual and very nice. They walk around the city in the same places where a large number of tourists from all over the world pass, this is something that gives this European destination a special stamp and makes you feel its magic.
OLD TOWN SQUARE:
One of the attractions is the old town square, as my trip was during Easter, the square is full of stalls where you could see and buy everything. But my view was amazed by the towers of the Church of the Most Holy Mother of God, which is very impressive. Its high towers, which reach high, are an exceptional phenomenon that dominates the old town square.
From a distance, it's nice to watch these towers, they look like in fairy tales, only that changes when we take a closer look.
The walls are very interesting how these towers are made, but not just the towers, but almost everything around them. The walls look just like in fairy tales, or in some computer games, the sides are made of empty bricks, of course, special ones, which, who knows how many centuries have been there, and the middle, lighter yellow bricks. It can also be seen that the bricks are of different sizes and shapes, which additionally gives an incredible look, and also the arrangement of the bricks is unusual.
Everything still looks like in a fairy tale, beautiful, fantastic, but let's go a little deeper into the details:
Look at these peaks, everything is like in a fairy tale, except for a hundred, there are some domes and stars on the tops, made of gold. It looks like there are some rooms in those towers, like some rooms?
How did those people manage, then, who knows how many years ago, to do something like that?
In the middle of these towers there is a symbol of a woman, a queen, or perhaps a king with a child in her arms, and like some sun in the background, as well as standing on some device that seems to be floating. The queen, or king, seems to hold a golden rod in her left hand, and in her right holds a child, who also has a crown on his head, like a father, or perhaps a mother, which means a little king, with a golden ball in his hand, as if mark a planet?
Take a closer look at these details on one of the towers I have indicated, though, there are them on both towers, and from all sides.
What are they looking for at the corners, some like demons, who seem to be some guards, and under the terraces, all sorts of figures, a little vague, but certainly terrible, then, on the walls, like some shields, and each shield has its own special details, which, they also look scary.
MEDIEVAL ASTRONOMICAL CLOCK:
Within the old square there is a dome on which there is an astronomical clock. The attention of this clock attracts the attention of all tourists because every full hour you can hear its beat and movement and you can see twelve apostles.
This clock, in addition to showing the hours on it, you can see the astronomical calendar, the zodiac constellation, the relative position of the sun and the moon and the planet.
Very strange details, which no one talks about:
Look at the image bellow:
There are some vague things, details, when you take a closer look at this watch and things around it, there are a lot of vague details, such as 4 clear figures, each of which has almost one or two things in hand made of gold. For example, the first figure on the left, holding something like a mirror in his hand, made of gold. Why?
Then, the other figure has a stick, and another figure in his left hand, too, why?
The 3 figure, and the first on the right side of the clock, is very scary, because it is a figure of a human skeleton, which holds golden figures in both hands, and what is worse, the figure in the left hand looks like a golden cage. Why all this?
The fourth figure also has some things in his hand, and has a gold flower on his hat. Also the question, why?
And that's not all, if we look even more closely, there are a lot of smaller details around the clock, also unclear why they are there, such as a mouse figure, a cat figure, a devil figure, and some others that I can't recognize, but, one of those figures, which is almost 12 hours up, is that demon-like figure from the movie Hellboy part one, which appears at the end of the movie, when Hellboy inserts his key-shaped hand into that demonic stone, and thus opens a portal in space, with a strong laser jet somewhere in distant space, releases a demonic creature resembling a characteristic, which then descends to earth with the aim of destroying all living beings on earth. A film as a film, almost always has a beautiful and happy ending, also in this film Hellboy destroys that creature, but ... what will that demonic creature do on top of this space clock? Why is it all there? What does that tell us? Don't we understand many things, is it all real?
I was very scared, looking at the details of these pictures of mine, later, at home, when I transferred them to the computer.
Also, under the clock, on the left, there are many additional figures, shapes, and everything I ask myself, such as, for example, what will the figure of the shape of a monkey and a tree do, as if talking to some devil-like figure?
On the right side, under the holder of the first 2 figures, below, also vague shapes of some creatures, snakes, or what is already inexplicable.
All this is done with a lot of details, and it is a very complicated architecture. I wonder how some architects did it, or did some architects really do it, or did all this come about in some other way?
As you can see in these more detailed pictures of mine, that even the hands of the clock are interesting, for example, the shape of a golden hand, which shows 2, or 3 fingers, Why?
The other hand has in the end like a planet, is it the moon, or is it Saturn, vaguely, just clearly signifying a planet, maybe one we don't know yet, or maybe even a planet from some other solar system?
Now, look at this wealth of detail here on and around those watches, amazing. So, it is simple for a person not to believe, that someone even came up with the idea to place so many details, so many golden details and statues, that it is simple, unbelievable.
Why would anyone bother to enter so many different details, which fall into very vague riddles, when someone notices them, and starts analyzing them and really thinks what it all should mean? What did these people, architects, or who already created it, want to tell us?
Very strange details, which no one talks about, and there they are, made in a lot of details, and almost no one knows anything about it, no story about, why?
Does anyone know what all this means? What are those messages there?
TEMPLE OF SAINT STEPHEN AND MONUMENT ON THE OLD SQUARE;
On the old town square, next to the astronomical clock and the dominant church, which reaches its height with its towers, so I have the impression that it touches the sky, there is the Cathedral of St. Nicholas. The Church of St. Nicholas is one of the most famous churches in Prague. in the center there is a bronze monument, in a modern style, dedicated to the hero of the Czech Republic Jan Hus. In addition to all these attractions that are located in the surroundings of the old square and adorn it with its beauty, the old town is surrounded by houses whose facades intertwine in several architectural styles.
Here you can also see a multitude of sculptures placed on all corners of this building. Very interesting, but only if they knew what it all meant or meant.
It was only after looking at this photo for a while that I started to see strange things in this very unusual statue, which is difficult to interpret what it is about, but what caught my eye are the buildings around, with angels on them, where it says "Salvator Mundi" , which is very interesting, what will that name mean here, because Mundi, seems like an Indian name.
On these buildings, gold to infinity, terraces made of gold, a lot of very details and shapes, a lot of marked figures, which, probably, only the creators know what they meant.
During the Easter holidays, the streets were crowded with people, tourists and residents circling the square, some toured the city and admired the historical values, while some enjoyed food and drink, from small houses that were spread across the square, but I still managed to I photograph the square and the attraction of this city that surround it on the old square.
THE CHARLES BRIDGE:
Charles Bridge is one of the biggest attractions and one of the symbols of the city. Charles Bridge is one of the most beautiful bridges in Europe, built in the 15th century, in the Gothic style connecting the old town with Prague Castle.
Legend has it that John resented the king, so the king ordered him to be thrown into the Vltava River, which flows under this bridge. When his body touched the water, five stars appeared that shone with a beautiful glow. Since then, Jovan Nepomuk has been considered a saint and protector of bridges.
It is only when this gate is enlarged that some interesting things come to light, such as these kings, emperors, or priests, who each hold something golden in their hands, such as a cross and a sword (do they go together), again, various shields, some made of gold, some not. But again the question, in addition to all that, what will a golden dog do, or some such creature, like dogs, under the upper two golden statues?
So, lets walk on the bridge, and discover some of its details:
The bridge is about 10 m wide, 520 meters long and lies on sixteen supporting pillars. The bridge consists of 16 arches, on which there are 30 statues, most of them in the Baroque style. The statues were made by the most famous Prague sculptors, and they represent the saints and protectors of that time, and serve as guardians of the bridge and Prague.
There were so many people walking on the bridge that day that I just couldn't get to any figure to take a picture of it, but tomorrow day was a bit more cloudy and colder, but I headed to the bridge a little earlier to make at least one Luckily for me, there were fewer tourists on a gloomy day, so I managed to photograph at least some statues that were interesting to me.
It is an interesting fact that this statue of Jesus, who writes something in golden letters that is vague for Europeans, in some unknown letters, looks like Hebrew, or some language from those parts, but again, why in Europe?
Beneath the cross, some golden flower, and some like shields resembling something illegible, also looks like some Hebrew or such a language. So a lot of details, a lot of things, but nothing clear.
Nearby, I came across another large statue, on which there are 3 female figures, namely, below these on the sides, one on the left is S. Margarita, and the other, on the right is S. Elisabetha, and this one from the middle, something is written below it, only again, vaguely and it looks as if it is in some ancient Greek language. Each of them has something golden in their hand and on their head. So gold never ends in this city.
It is secured on both sides by towers. The tower in the Old Town is richly decorated, and the other is somewhat smaller and the rest of the old bridge. One of the most important statues is the statue of St. John of Nepomuk.
I hope that everyone who loves historical sights and different styles of architecture will enjoy them if they visit this city. Although it still offers many interesting things worth seeing. Which I will emphasize in the next post.
