Introduction
First week of the year 2025 is almost over and thank God it's Friday! I am so glad the work is over, and I am very excited for tomorrow because it is the start of our snowboarding trip. Since I cannot contain my excitement, I am going to share to you my other snowboarding experience in Myoko City of Akakura.

One of the beginner level routes in ski area
Akakura Onsen Ski Area
Our day trip to Akakura started late at night which will depart from Shinjuku, and I was a little bit concerned because I am not the kind of person who can easily sleep in a moving bus. Minding that, I bought some snacks I could find in a nearest convenience store so as to help myself get energized. Carrying the goods with my plastic bag, me and my other friends boarded in our assigned bus.

After arriving at the destination around seven in the morning, we decide to have some rest in one of the local hotels that my friends know but we were rejected as they no longer allow other people to rest inside their place. Wondering why, my friends suggested if we should order some food in that same hotel, but we didn't continue as we don't have much time since preparing the food would consume the time of our day trip.

We continued our morning by going to the rental place and immediately wore the snowboarding gear in there. After doing so, we headed to the locker station near the ski area in order to leave our important stuffs. Then, when everyone was ready, we headed up to the place and finally started our adventure.
Remember when I said that I was concerned before riding the bus? My concerns came when I couldn't control my snowboarding activity. You see, I did not fully rest on the bus, and I only ate some snacks, so my energy was not that great. My friends have managed to pass me a few times already as I was always fall down there. After managing twice or thrice the number of trips, I went for a stop at the restaurant to eat some food.

Went alone to eat some food
After eating my ramen, I headed out to another food facility, and I saw my friend getting off from the lift. Several moments passed, everyone had gathered around and decided to have some lunch. I already ate by I went for another round of eating as I saw the delicious steak being served.
The amount of food that I ate had made my body fully recovered. After resting for a few moments, we went outside to pick our snowboard and prepared to head down. As we were sitting on the ground and fixing the gears, they took a photo of me as they noticed that I was also taking some photos of them. After that, we stood up and started our activity again.

With my energy regaining, I didn't fall as much as I did in the morning. I was and still am a beginner, but I pushed myself to learn. When learning all by yourself, sometimes you will hate yourself for being bad at it but as you continue and try harder it will be all worth the experience.
The trip was almost ending, and I was a little bit satisfied so far. My goal was to achieve the S-turns, but I did not reach that skill level yet. My friends were waiting for me at the bottom as I was the only last one that didn't finish. We retrieved our personal belongings and then returned the rental gears. Lastly, we bought an ice cream there and headed back to our bus.

Time to head back home
Afterword
After writing this blog, I realized that I should prepare myself now. I need to rest my body and buy some good food that will give me energy. Also, I need to mentally prepare as well and hopefully I can achieve the S-turns this time.
If you have reached this part, then thank you so much for taking your time to read this. Do you have any snowboarding experience? Let me know some tips and if you are a beginner like me then I hope I gave you some idea of what's to experience. That would be all for now! See you next time~ :)
