This will be a short entry, because the place visited is really just one tiny point, but it is located in such a beautiful area, and is associated with such an interesting event that in my opinion it is worth devoting a separate entry to it. This is where Hagrid's hut was located during the filming of the three Harry Potter films: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in 2004, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in 2007 and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in 2009. Fans The fans of the series probably know that Hagrid's hut is associated with one of the filmmakers' slip-ups, namely in the first and second parts of the saga, its location was significantly different from the later one. In the first parts of the videos it was clearly visible how the hut is located on a flat area right next to the border of the forbidden forest, while the place we visited is a hillside overgrown with low vegetation with a view of the picturesque mountains and the lake, which hosted the hut only in the later parts of the saga.
Constructed for filming, the building was a temporary structure that was dismantled after production was completed and moved to The Making of Harry Potter museum in London.

Our visit to this place was very special because it took place in heavy rain. We were supposed to be in Edinburgh in just 3 hours and it was our last chance to experience the wild Scottish nature, so despite the rain we parked the car in the parking lot at the very charming Clachaig Inn hotel in Signal Rock and An Torr. Trekking was very short because we walked only a kilometer counting both ways and we walked about 50 meters up. However, the weather meant that 90 percent of the route we had to walk on rapid streams of water flowing down the slope. 20 minutes of walking and we were all wet, was it worth it? judge for yourself.

To będzie krótki wpis, bo i miejsce odwiedzone to tak naprawdę tylko jeden malutki punkt, natomiast jest on położony w tak pięknej okolicy, oraz wiąże się z na tyle ciekawym zdarzeniem, że w mojej ocenie warto poświęcić mu osobny wpis. Mowa o miejscu, w którym znajdowała się chatka Hagrida podczas kręcenia trzech filmów z serii o młodym czarodzieju Harrym Potterze: Harry Potter i więzień Azkabanu z roku 2004, Harry Potter i Zakon Feniksa z roku 2007 i Harry Potter i Książę Półkrwi z roku 2009. Fani serii zapewne wiedzą, że z chatką Hagrida wiąże się jedna z wpadek, którą zaliczyli twórcy filmów, a mianowicie w pierwszej i drugiej części sagi jej lokalizacja była znacząco różna od tej późniejszej. W pierwszych częściach filmów widać było wyraźnie jak chatka zlokalizowana jest na płaskiej przestrzeni tuż przy granicy zakazanego lasu, natomiast odwiedzone przez nas miejsce to porośnięte niską roślinnością zbocze z widokiem na malownicze góry i jezioro, które gościło u siebie chatkę dopiero w późniejszych częściach sagi.
Postawiony na potrzeby kręcenia filmów budynek był konstrukcją tymczasową, którą po zakończeniu produkcji zdemontowano i przeniesiono do muzeum The Making of Harry Potter w Londynie.

Nasza wizyta w tym miejscu była bardzo specyficzna, ponieważ odbywała się w rzęsistych strugach deszczu. Już za 3 godziny mieliśmy być w Edynburgu i była to nasza ostatnia okazja aby poobcować z dziką szkocką naturą, więc pomimo deszczu zatrzymaliśmy samochód na parkingu przy bardzo urokliwym hotelu Clachaig Inn w osadzie Signal Rock and An Torr. Trekking był bardzo krótki bo przeszliśmy zaledwie kilometr licząc w obie strony oraz podeszliśmy jakieś 50 metrów do góry. Jednak pogoda sprawiła, że 90 procent trasy musieliśmy przejść po wartkich strumykach spływającej po zboczu wody. 20 minut spaceru i byliśmy cali mokrzy, czy warto było ? oceńcie sami.
