Hola, buenos días comunidad.
El pasado viernes 20 de junio viaje hacia la provincia de Entre Ríos, Argentina para disfrutar de las termas de Chajarí. Nunca había ido a este lugar y tampoco tenía mucha información, pero, decidimos ir igual con mi compañera. Arrojarnos a la aventura y disfrutar de un fin de semana largo. Al llegar al lugar el micro nos dejo en la puerta del Hotel ¨Mainumby¨ (frase que en idioma guaraní significa colibrí). Los coordinadores nos anunciaron antes de llegar al pueblo que aquí los tiempos son distintos al de la ciudad. Los habitantes duermen la siesta y cierran sus negocios al mediodía hasta las cinco de la tarde y bueno, eso es raro, para gente que vive full time en una ciudad como Buenos Aires. Pero decidimos bajar un cambio nuestro ritmo urbano y adaptarnos al lugar.Fuimos a recorrer la estación de ferrocarril y tomamos fotos en "modo Chajarí", haciendo de la tarde nuestro tiempo sin tiempo. Así pudimos registrar lo que vimos en los alrededores de la estación Chajarí.
Esta estación que le dio nombre al pueblo que antes se llamaba "Villa libertad" hoy solo ve pasar trenes de carga. Pero este lugar sigue siendo punto de encuentro para las familias. Ya que este espacio fue reacondicionado como espacio cultural y de recreo.
Luego por la tarde con mi compañera hicimos un city tour y pudimos aprender un poco de la historia del pueblo. Que estas eran tierras del General Justo José de Urquiza, quien fue gobernador de Entre Ríos. Más tarde estas tierras fueron repartidas a una comunidad de inmigrantes Italianos que trajeron a la zona sus conocimientos en cultivos de vid. Por cuestiones de política nacional esta zona tuvo al cultivo de cítricos. Que hoy en día es su principal fuente económica exportando al mundo por ejemplo: mandarinas y naranjas. En este recorrido también pudimos disfrutas de una degustación de miel, salames y quesos herencia de la cultura Italiana.
Como broche del cierre del día culminamos con una cena en la finca "El Pez" con un asado tradicional de campo, con música y baile folclórico.

Last Friday, June 20, I traveled to the province of Entre Ríos, Argentina to enjoy the Chajarí hot springs. I had never been to this place and didn't have much information, but my partner and I decided to go anyway. Throw ourselves into the adventure and enjoy a long weekend. Upon arriving at the place, the bus left us at the door of the ¨Mainumby¨ Hotel (a phrase that means hummingbird in the Guaraní language). The coordinators announced to us before arriving in town that the times here are different from those in the city. The inhabitants take a nap and close their businesses at noon until five in the afternoon and well, that is strange, for people who live full time in a city like Buenos Aires. But we decided to slow down our urban rhythm and adapt to the place. We went to tour the railway station and took photos in "Chajarí mode", making the afternoon our timeless time. This way we were able to record what we saw around the Chajarí station. This station that gave its name to the town that was previously called "Villa Libertad" today only sees freight trains pass by. But this place continues to be a meeting point for families. Since this space was reconditioned as a cultural and recreational space.
Then in the afternoon my partner and I took a city tour and we were able to learn a little about the history of the town. That these were lands of General Justo José de Urquiza, who was governor of Entre Ríos. Later these lands were distributed to a community of Italian immigrants who brought their knowledge of grape growing to the area. For reasons of national policy, this area had citrus cultivation. Which today is its main economic source, exporting to the world, for example: mandarins and oranges. On this tour we were also able to enjoy a tasting of honey, salami and cheeses inherited from Italian culture.
As a final touch to the end of the day, we culminate with a dinner at the "El Pez" farm with a traditional country barbecue, with music and folk dance.
