Today's post is about yesterday's trip We five friends went to Sheetla Khet, this place is located in the middle of Ranikhet and Almora, about 35 km from Almora, here is the famous temple of Syahi devi , this is a mother's temple. This temple is on the highest point in Sheetla Khet. The priests here are the Giri people of the Nath Sampradaya. It is believed that this temple was completed in one night.
The temple was built by the Katyuri kings. Before this temple was built, this temple was half a kilometer away from here at a place called Old Syahi devi or Puresia. Pureshia itself means old Syahi devi. Swami Vivekananda did penance here in 1898. Leopards can be seen here. The Chandra kings told a village named Naugaon under Syahi devi where people of Joshi caste live and provided them with irrigable land.
When viewed from Almora, it appears in Syahi devi that the shape of two trees looks like the shape of a lion. The British had named it Tiger Hill, one of the two lion-shaped tree is a Deodar cedar tree. Lightning has fallen in the Deodar cedar tree 8 to 10 times and the tree is still not dry, it will definitely be the grace of the goddess.
We know Sheetla Khet for the beautiful views of the Himalayas, from here the Himalayas look very beautiful.
There are many types of fruit orchards here. At a distance of 4 kilometers from Sheetla Khet, there is a temple of Syahi Devi, which is about 3 kilometers on foot, the path is quite calm and green, this path leads to the temple through the middle of the forests.

आज की मेरी पोस्ट कल की ट्रिप के बारे में है हम पांच दोस्त शीतला खेत गए हुए थे यह स्थान अल्मोड़ा से लगभग 35 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर रानीखेत और अल्मोड़ा के मध्य में स्थित है यहां पर स्याही देवी का प्रसिद्ध मंदिर है यह एक माता का मंदिर है। यह मंदिर शीतला खेत में सबसे ऊंचे स्थान पर है। यहां के पुजारी नाथ संप्रदाय के गिरी लोग हैं।
माना जाता है कि यह मंदिर एक रात में बनकर तैयार हुआ है मंदिर का निर्माण कत्यूरी राजाओं ने किया था यह मंदिर बनने से पहले यह मंदिर यहां से आधा किलोमीटर की दूरी पर पुरानी स्याही देवी या पुरेशिया नामक स्थान पर था। पुरेशिया का अर्थ ही पुरानी स्याही देवी है। स्वामी विवेकानंद ने यहां पर 1898 में तपस्या की थी। यहां पर शेर तेंदुआ देखने को मिलते हैं। चंद्र राजाओं ने स्याही देवी के नीचे ही नौगांव नामक एक गांव को बताया जहां जोशी जाति के लोग रहते हैं और उनको सिंचाई योग्य भूमि प्रदान की।
अल्मोड़ा से देखने पर स्याही देवी में लगता है कि दो पेड़ों की आकृति शेर के आकार की दिखती है। अंग्रेजों ने इसे टाइगर हिल नाम दिया था दो शेर आकृति वाले पेड़ों में से एक पेड़ देवदार का पेड़ है देवदार के पेड़ में 8 से 10 बार बिजली गिर चुकी है और पेड़ अभी भी सूखा नहीं है जरूर ही यह देवी की कृपा होगी।
शीतला खेत को हम हिमालय के खूबसूरत नजारों के लिए जानते हैं यहां से हिमालय अत्यंत सुंदर दिखता है।
यहां पर अनेक प्रकार के फलों के बाग बगीचे हैं। शीतला खेत से 4 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्याही देवी का मंदिर है जो की 3 किलोमीटर लगभग पैदल है रास्ता काफी शांत और हरा भरा है जंगलों के बीच से यह रास्ता मंदिर तक जाता है।
