Namaste đ
Hope you all are doing great !!!
The snow has just melted from this part of The Mountain and the moisture of the soil could prove that. They were patches of snow all around now, as we had now covered the initial snow line. The branches of the tree were naked and there wasnât any leave or any bud on the branches. As of now. Spring hasnât started here yet. Itâs still winter here and it felt like weâve travelled back in time while hiking towards this place down there, where we live the spring is on full bloom.
The beauty of the place cannot be described in the words, but you might be able to experience it by admiring at the photographs, which I am posting here. It felt like a dream land like a fairy land outside of the real world and indeed it was outside of our real world, and we came here for escape.
The weed fieldsâ
They were strands of the bushes, lying naked without any leaves from the past year in the fields as you can see. In these remote parts of The Mountain, people grow weed and make hash out of it in the photograph below the strands of the plants that you see were weed plants.
Although growing weed is illegal in India, but as this is the remote part of the mountain, so people can grow illegal weed here thatâs why you can see the stands of weed plants all around us in the photographs.
From here, the nearest civilisation is about an hour and a half of hike, so the people who grow weed here live in this little shed they made in the wilderness. Because of the temperature and the climate condition, the weed that grows here is very potent and considered very top quality.
We kept on moving forward as it was only midday yet, and we had a lot of time ahead of us. Mr. Snow White was following us all along, and he made our navigation quite easier. He also waited for us while we were slow cruising through the snow. I think he also loved being in the snow, and he was also looking for some companions that would take him with them, and he found us, and luckily we found him.
Meeting Mr. Snow-white (The Himalayan Shepherd Dog)â
While we were travelling, we came across this really cute looking dog that we named Mr Snow White. He started accompanying us and started following us. He looked really friendly and friended us really quickly.
In the below photographs, you can see Mr Snow White having fun on the snow. He was waiting for us to arrive at him while we were slowing down because of walking on the snow. He was a really funny and fluffy dog as you can see in the photographs too.
It was more than a couple hours. We been walking, so we decided to stop here for a while to catch our breaths and also to immerse ourselves in the mesmerising view of the nature that was all around us. Mr Snow White also made himself very comfortable on the snow. He was chilling there, and it was really funny to see him do that.
Then huge mountain peaks were rising from the foothills as we gained elevation. Now, we can see the higher mountains that were not visible from the down village. The views were getting better, and the oxygen was getting thinner but as we were still in the tropical zone, so it wasnât any problem for us to breathe as of now.
After taking a stop for about 15 minutes, we continued our journey and as we moved forward. Mr Snow White also got up from his chair of snow and started moving along with us. We all were having the time of our lives and we couldnât ask for more as it was all perfect that day.
Moving forward and higherâ
I took an opportunity to capture some of the photographs of me and my friend and some selfies to which I am posting down here for you guys to see. We were now ready to go in the snow as it was all snow from the point where we were currently at. Now the navigation was going to be a little bit harder as there was a lot of snow from now onwards.
I will be continuing my journey in the next blog, and that is it for today. I hope you like this blog and I hope it resonated with you guys. Thanks for passing by.
Peace âŽď¸
