Namaste ๐
Hope you are doing great!!!
The best time to visit Pokhara is during the months of Spring that is around March and April and that was the same time, I visited this beautiful. Not only my duration of visit was perfect, but I also choose to visit the Lakeside at the evening time, which made it hundred times more beautiful, and this experience is gonna stay with me forever.
Continuing to my last blog, I made my grandparents sit comfortably at the entry point of the lakeside. They were waiting for the evening Aarti that was to be held later that evening. They also reserved a seat for me so that I could come back and enjoy evening Aarti with them. It was around 45 minutes until the evening Aarti would start, so I had some time to explore the Lakeside on my own.
The sun was also about to set and it was already looking so beautiful as you can see in the photographs. It felt like I am somewhere in a fairy land. It literally was feeling like a dream with a lake and the perfect atmosphere that you can imagine ever.
There was a footpath that was built on the side of the lake, so that people could explore the lakeside very easily and comfortably. I started to walk on the same path and I really liked walking on it. There were a couple of dogs at the starting point which were really friendly and they were laying around the footpath as you can see in the photographs too.
Just chapter walking for around five minutes, I reached a place where there was a selfie point kind of place built in between the lake. It was clearly written there that โI love Pokharaโ. And people were taking photographs in front of it.
The atmosphere around this place was really really beautiful. As you can see in the photographs. Some people were walking. Some people were boating and some people were doing creative things such as painting and there were some restaurants on the other side of the road that served really beautiful, delicious food
This was a kind of vibe that everyone imagines in their dreams, and I was literally living it in reality. The sun was slowly getting down and the evening colours were shining, really bright in the sky as you can see in the photographs.
Everything was golden and orange, and it was the perfect atmosphere that could ever exist in this earth. The temperature was as perfect as it can be with cool breeze blowing from the water body towards the footpath. They were people from all around the world walking in this beautiful place.
Upon walking a little further, I came across this huge area where little boats were parked. As I already mentioned that spring time is the best time to visit Pokhara as this time, the weather is as pleasant as it can be, and there are not many tourist present as compared to the summertime.
I walked for around 20 to 25 minutes and I reached almost at the end of the Lakeside. They were very less people here as you can see in the photograph below, and it was really really peaceful that it is hard to describe in words.
As it was already 20 to 25 minutes, I only had some time left for the Aarti to start, so I had to get back to the place, so I started my journey back to the starting place where my grandparents were waiting for me.
On the way, I came across these, really happy Buddhist monks. I was really happy to see them. They were capturing photographs in front of the lake, and they were as happy as they can ever be.
After working a little further, I came across this beautiful place called Pokhara, Disneyland. It was a small beautiful kind of place where children were playing. In fact, everyone walking in the side of the lake was happy.
After walking a little further, I saw this man who was painting on the side of the lake. The painting he was drawing was of lake itself, and he made it really beautiful as you can see in the photograph.
It was sunset now, and this was the best sunset of my life, not only because of the views, but also because of the overall vibe that I experienced while walking around. You must be knowing that I am really fond of walking and finding such a perfect place with such perfect people and such perfect atmosphere is quite rare.
Because of all these conditions, this was the best sunset of my life and Iโm gonna remember this forever, and I will definitely get back to this place really soon.
I successfully completed the round around the lake in about 40 to 45 minutes and came back to the starting point where my grandparents were waiting for me to join them for the evening Aarti that was to be held really soon now.
Let me tell you that Aarti was really phenomenal, and Iโm gonna tell you guys about my experience of witnessing that Aarti in the next blog.
Thank you for passing by.
