Julley Everyone,
Just imagine my friends thinking about a place or about thinking about the mountains that what could be just behind these high mountains, as that was exactly what the people of Lahul and Spiti Valley usually used to think back in hundred years ago.
Here I was guys on my journey on my exploration about thinking, as with what of totally a different perspective about a place about mountain, as what people usually believe they discover the pass, cover the roads and reach the other side of the destination, but what I was deep in thinking myself as I stopped here Just somewhere around 5 km before South portal of the Rohtang tunnel, as we were not allowed to take photographs of the tunnel, so I also stopped taking the photographs just before the South portal, but I’m gonna share my experience with you guys the journey before it as tunnel that Used to make the life easy as transferring one portion of himalayan Valley to another valley, usually it used to take crossing of himalayan passes but now just few minutes only and you are on the other part of the world.
So was this the month of July and as dry as it seems like, and as green, as it seems like is the portion of this Lauhl and Spiti Valley that it seems like when we can’t even reach the place in the winter season as it is covered with snow, ranging more than 8 to 10 feet and that last for more than three months.
The Mountain of Magic.
So was I here at this place? Stop the car and was just looking at the mountain and seeing the top of the mountain that there were even these countless unknown waterfalls formed by melting of glacier at the place. There was also formation of clouds that I saw when I was at this place, unknown, all I remember was that I was just about to reach the South portal And the time it was somewhere late afternoon around 2 PM or something.
As I was too much indulged in looking at the beautiful landscape view as I captured this photograph, even the sky, it was a bit cloudy and there was a bit formation of rainbow something in the sky.
I was all lost on thoughts that how the people used to go to the other side of the valley and they used to farm at such high lands and quite a lot of time and the moment I saw the river and it was extreme the water in it it was just extreme as I was not even able to capture it as I was on my journey. The road that I was coming through. It was away from the river at certain points, but at certain points, the road even was just right next to the river.
The moment I got the chance to capture the photograph of the river. Here it was there was these few of the cars that were parked right next to the river and just tried behind. It was the road that I was coming through and the river it was really extreme lot of pressure as there was it was formed by a lot of melting of glacier and ice. Nobody knows that how deep the river is as the flow itself was just extremely extreme. I would say.
So finally, I reached at the South portal, where it was the turning point of the nature as we would now headed to the Manali side of Himachal Pradesh from Lahul Spiti Valley.
There were these a lot of people hanging around the place as there. Even were these the batten flags that were placed right next to the river in the bridge. Different colours that had the Holy chant in it. Or some other thing I was not quite sure about as they were quite a lot in such himalayan places for the peaceful Ness of the place and that’s what Tibetan culture believes so the people and me also respecting what a place has to offer.
Thanks for your precious time. 🙏
Love from the Himalayas.♥️
