Mon Choisy is our most favorite beach of all around the Island!
It is on rare occasions that you can see me and my family venturing at another beach!

Last trip for 2023 with the family!
The main objective was to swim and relax!
Once we were there, we all went directly in the lagoon with its warm and calm waters!
The kids had a great time before school resumed!
Omar and Rheem were so happy swimming for the last time in this beautiful lagoon before resuming school couple of days later…
We made this trip on the 30th of December 2023 and school started on the 8th of January 2024!
This was like their last holiday outing until the next holidays!
Now we are in the cyclonic season…
I don’t think we will be visiting any beaches soon as we are being hit by cyclones one after the other here in Mauritius.
The first cyclone already caused a lot of damages to our beaches and will take time to get back in shape.
From the information I got from my friends, this beach has been damaged too and is no more the same as when we went.
I really hope when I go there the next time, I won’t be shocked…

It does not look good at all!!! A lot of erosion due to big waves recently!
I am so lucky to have made that last visit to the beach that day…because things are no more the same now.
I just hope the authorities together with the population will overcome these difficulties and get our beaches back in shape soon!
