Over 90% of my blog featuring travel posts are when we have sunny days in my country...
And when we talk about Mauritius, we always have that picture of the beach, blue sky with a nice bright sun - Oh well most of the time the weather is wonderful over here, we have to admit it!
But we do have quite some rainy days too...
Wait..let me show you the same spot when the sky is blue...
Took the below photo some time back when we had a nice weather!
Let's come back to my rainy day post...
Same as each Saturday, that day I had to make some food delivery at Mahebourg located in the South Eastern part of the island!
It was raining all over the island that day...
With the wet and slippery road, I had to drive super slow while keeping distance with others as the visibility was not that great too...
Went to take some photos at the beach...
After delivering the food, I decided to go see the beach in such a rainy weather for a change...
And to my great surprise, I loved the view!
Mauritius is beautiful on a rainy day too...
I actually kinda love it when it rains and I have to drive...we get to discover another face of the beauty of the island!
We even had some people fishing in that rainy weather...I stayed there for around 15 minutes and took a lot of photos as I was enjoying those rain drops a lot...

Not always sunny over here...
We are literally already in winter now here and it will be raining quite often + cold temperatures...and will last for at least 4-5 months...
Hard for us locals but nothing 'cold' for travelers who are used to snows...
If you are travelling to Mauritius, don't get stressed if the weather turns bad...on a rainy day too you can enjoy around, with some precautions of course!
