A Visit to Rabindra Kuthibari -WalkingIn the Footsteps of Rabindranath

Hello Everyone, Hope everyone is well. Today I want to show you one of the important historical monuments of Bangladesh, which is a small hut associated with the memory of the world poet Rabindranath Tagore. Which is named Rabindra Kuthibari.

Here, the world poet Rabindranath Tagore stayed here from 1891 to 1901. This beautiful structure was built at that time with a combination of European and Indian styles. Now inside it are all the furniture used by Rabindranath at that time, such as a bed, chair, table, his pictures and some of his written documents. It is very beautiful to see a two-story hut in the middle surrounded by a small garden.

All the land affairs of the Tagore family were managed from this hut. From here, he composed many other poems like the famous Gitanjali, Chhinnapatra and Sonar Tari.

When we first came here, we were dropped off at the back gate because we didn't know them and when we entered there were many things to see and these are usually for small children.

Then I went towards the main gate and there you can see a big place where if you bring a car and many schools come here for picnics, a beautiful place has been kept here which is called a picnic spot.

Then from here I moved towards the main hut. But before that there are some shops where many beautiful artifacts are sold. From here you can take many things as souvenirs.

There are clay things here and wooden things. There are many things here that you can take as souvenirs from the hut of Shilaidaha, there Rabindranath Tagore has been beautifully made or its hut is beautifully made of wood which looks very extraordinary.

I moved towards the main attraction of the hut and from a distance it looked extraordinary. I tried to take some pictures around it, I hope you will like them and you can see the house from all around and see how much empty space there is next to it.

Then I started looking at the many beautiful artifacts inside. Almost all the furniture used by Rabindranath is here, these are from a long time ago and when you see it, you will understand how sophisticated Rabindranath was at that time. He used all kinds of modern things.

I was most surprised to see the lawn mower, it was very surprising to bring so many sophisticated things to Bangladesh at that time. Here is the palanquin, which was used as a vehicle in the previous era.

Here is all the sophisticated furniture that was very sophisticated for Bangladesh at that time, he used to bring it here.

Here are many pictures of Rabindranath Tagore, taken at different times and sitting there, Rabindranath was very comfortable. How much he loved and he used to come here to get some peace, he used to work a lot and here he used to work on his poems and compositions in a calm mind.

Then I looked around it. Except for this house, there is nothing much to see around it, there is empty space, but there are more places to see around it, they are still under construction, maybe when the work is finished, there will be an opportunity to see many more beautiful things.

Since there was not much time to see here, so at some point it was seen. Here, during a little heat, I ate ice cream and our childhood favorite food, Dil Dil Nadu, which has now gone from the village area but is being served here.

This journey of mine was very extraordinary. I have written many poems and compositions of Rabindranath, today it was very nice to see some parts of them implemented with my own eyes.
