Hey guys, following my trips and trail series (Check out the first post in the link below) @question23/question23-trips-introducing-you-to-some-of-brazilian-wonders-trekking-run-to-argenita-waterfall here I am again and this time i am going to talk about one trip i made in a beach in the extreme south of Brazil, a place were i lived and enjoyed for more than 10 years of my life , it's called the Cassino beach, and it's part of the city called Rio Grande. This beach is awarded by the Guinness Book of Records as the largest one in extension with it's 220km.

You can see below a sattelite view with different points in the beach. The trip i made in this occasion was close from the Pin situated in the north of the image.
There you can find 2 longs concrete arms, that were built many years ago to prevent the waves from entering the canal, to help the entry and exit of the ships, because there is a huge and important seaport there. These roch and concrete arms are called Jetties, or "Molhes" in portuguese.

So now that you know a little bit about the background of the place, i can start talking about the trip.
Me and my friend went by car until the north tip of the beach, with a pair of nice running shoes, sunglasses, a sweatshirt (because it's always windy there) and a lot of water. The beggining of the path has a flat ground between the wall of rocks and a train track, that is used to run some wind powered wagons
(This is the view from the beggining of the path, it stays like this for some miles and then there is a large open place, this end of the line, and there you have to climb the rocks to continue the path,as you climb the rocks you start jumping from large rock to large rock, with a lot of caution, because you can easily fall and get hurt really bad. But the view is amazing
In the tip of the jetty stands a little lighthouse, and the goal is to reach there, in the middle of the path there is a lot of structures, mainly measuring devices for the wind, the tides, etc.

I wanted to jump on it and climb it but i was afraid i could fall and hurt myself, and my friend would have to call the coast guard or the firemen to save me and i would be really embarassed and probably would end up on local news 
I'm glad that jumping urge passed and we continued the journey safe and sound. We were jumping from rock to rock for so long that i was beggining to get tired, so i had the ideia to leave my backpack in the middle of the path to get it back later, i didn't have to worry about someone robbing it because there was no one with us, it's a pretty desert place, most of the people stop in the end of the line and go back to the beach (maybe because there is a sign there warning how dangerous is to go further, but we go anyway).
Thousand of rocks later we started we got close the lighthouse, it was really releaving, because we still had all that way to go back.

There is a little door in the lighthouse that is always unlocked, inside there is ladder and in the top of the ladder there is a trapdoor that gives acess to the top of the lighthouse, it's a little bit high up there, and dangerous too, just like the entire way.
From up there i could see far on the horizon, the sky was very clear, and i could see the jetty in the other side of the canal, that one is located in the city of São José do Norte.
It was about 04 p.m. and the sun was starting to set becaus it was winter season, so we got a beautiful solar position so i was able to snap these pictures below.
Ow and i was almost forgetting. we found some local resident there too, they were really friendly and welcoming, received used with a lot of pelasure in their home, haha, here they are.
