Hello to all dear friends. I hope you all are doing well. Your days are getting auspicious and will be even better in the near future. I am satisfied with your continued support.
Friends, in the month of Sawan, I decided to visit Kalika Mata Mandir with some special friends from my village. Some of my friends had come to their home from other cities, and they planned this trip. We were a total of 4 people and went on 2 bikes. Kalika Mandir is situated at an altitude of 1760 m (5,770 ft).
We all started from home at 7 in the morning. The weather was pleasant and we were eager to have darshan of Maa.
Friends, Kalika Mata Mandir is located 55 kilometers away from my house. This temple is located in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand.
It took us about 2 hours to reach the temple. My heart became happy as soon as I reached the temple.
On reaching there, first of all we parked the bike at a safe place and then took the prasad.
After taking the prasad, we proceeded towards the temple, where there was already a long queue of devotees. After waiting for some time, we reached the court of Mata Rani. After reaching there, everyone did puja, offered flowers and offered prasad. The divinity of Mata Rani and the peaceful atmosphere of the temple was very soothing to the mind.
There were so many monkeys in the temple premises that they were disturbing the people. These monkeys remain in the temple all the time and snatch the offerings from the hands.
Friends, Ramayan Paath and Bhajan-Kirtan are being organized in the temple these days. We sat there for some time and enjoyed the bhajans. After this, we had prasad in the bhandaar – delicious and soul-satisfying food.
Friends, the Haat Kalika temple holds immense religious importance for the people of the Kumaon region, especially the brave soldiers of the Kumaon Regiment of the Indian Army. According to a popular legend, once a sea storm came due to which the ship carrying the soldiers of the Kumaon Regiment started vibrating. When all efforts to save the ship from sinking failed, the soldiers took refuge in Goddess Haat Kali and prayed to her. This was told to me by the people of the temple committee and the old soldiers and every year the army soldiers perform worship here and all the army men also offer bells here and the army men have also built 3, 4 gates of this temple on the Pargan and the people of Gangolihat also have the blessings of Mata Rani.
Friends, this is the idol of Kalika Mata, my heart became happy after seeing it, I offered flowers and took blessings from Mata Rani 🙏🏻🙏🏻
After the darshan, we also took many pictures in the temple premises, which I am sharing with you all. The temple was decorated lavishly with flowers and chandeliers, which was extremely pleasing to the eyes.
This trip with friends was very beautiful, these pictures clicked on the phone will be memorable for the future.
I really enjoy spending such moments with friends.
This trip was not only important from a religious point of view, but this time spent with friends will remain memorable for a lifetime. 🙏
