This journey began when my cousin invited me to go to a river at the foot of the mountain, a river that was still natural and far from settlements, seeing how enthusiastic the invitation was, I couldn't bear to refuse it and said yes to the invitation. The last time I went to the mountains was when I went to the Bate Lhe plantation at the invitation of my father, and that was quite a long time ago.There were three people on this trip, me, my cousin, and another friend. We started the trip at 3 pm and arrived at the river location at 4:15 pm, which meant the trip took about an hour longer.
It was already evening but the sun was still very hot, so I stopped for a moment at the side of the road because I managed to see a very beautiful view at the side of the road, all of this was natural scenery that was still natural and there was not the slightest bit of artificial beauty.
In this view, we can also see a river that is quite large in size and this river flow will be our destination, I don't want to waste time, because the time we have is very limited, so I don't linger at this point and choose to continue the journey.
The challenge on this trip was when we left the paved road and started to pass through damaged roads, the many bends and climbs made it a challenge.
There is no such thing as rushing when passing through this road, we must be very careful and consider the path that the motorbike tires will take, and to reduce the risk of unwanted things happening, I also told my cousin and his friend to get off the motorbike to reduce the load on the vehicle.
Currently I am on a plateau or on a hilltop, so there are many beautiful views that I can see from this peak, one of the most interesting is the view of Mount Goeh which looks almost perfect.
From this point it only took me about 10 minutes to get to the river location, so I immediately rushed there. When I arrived at the river I was immediately shocked when I saw the river water was a bit murky and I was hesitant to swim.
One thing that really surprised me was when I realized that there was something strange about this river, and it turned out that the strangeness was that the size of this river was getting bigger because the land on the banks of the river was being eroded by water, this also became a concern for the community, especially for the landowners on the banks of this river, but when I was pensive, suddenly I was surprised by the voice of my cousin who invited me to swim immediately.
Nevertheless, this river remains my favorite place when I want to swim in a natural place, even though it is far from residential areas, the sensation offered by this place is truly extraordinary, this cannot be separated from the natural panorama which is still pristine and natural.
Due to the strong river current, the path to the river had also disappeared, leaving only a cliff. Of course, this was not a good way to get down to the river, so we chose to walk along the riverbank to find a safe place to get down.
The chunks of soil that were not carried away by the current looked like several piles of rocks in the river, and that made me a little afraid of the condition of the river at that time, if you pay attention, this is soil that contains a little sand, and if you are in a big river, there will likely be many scary spots for swimming because the soft soil will make our feet easily get stuck in it.
And what amazed me even more was that on the edge of this river there was also a savannah that was quite large and the natural feel was very pronounced at this point.
But behind its beauty, this savanna also has a dark story and this story I managed to get from the confessions of several residents in my village, so a few months ago, precisely during the rainy season, there were several people who were cutting grass for their livestock, because of the continuous rain, suddenly the water in this river became very large and fast, people who were cutting grass in the savanna thought that the water in the river would not be able to reach the location, but it turned out that their prediction was wrong, the water in this river evaporated and filled this beautiful savanna, but fortunately these people managed to survive because they quickly realized it, there are several important messages from this short story, namely that we should not underestimate nature.
And finally we managed to find a safe way down to the river, and it immediately made me panic when the two little kids ran straight towards the water, but luckily they could still be stopped with just one shout. Before swimming I chose to take a short break while eating some supplies that I had prepared at the beginning of the trip.
After getting enough rest, I immediately invited them to swim, but we chose to swim in a safe area, because currently there are very few people swimming in this river, so I don't know the deepest point of the river.
For safety's sake, I immediately put my cellphone away and now it's time for me to focus on swimming. To be honest, the water in this river is very cold because it comes straight from the mountains,even though the water is a bit murky, the refreshing sensation is still felt. Without realizing it, we have been swimming in this river for more than an hour, and after we felt satisfied, we immediately went back up to land to rest again.
However, at that time we did not go home straight away, because according to information from several residents, there were many beautiful gemstones in this river, so we were immediately enthusiastic about looking for them.
I myself am still a cloud in terms of gemstones, but I keep looking for them, until I managed to find several types of stones that looked beautiful to me. Besides me, the two little children also joined in looking for them.
After about 15 minutes of searching for gemstones, we managed to find several types of stones, and I collected these stones in one place.
I don't know whether these stones are valuable or just ordinary stones, I don't really care about that, because if I think it's pretty then I'll just take it Lol.
However, there was another surprising thing that happened when the two children managed to catch two rock shrimps, and they found the shrimps when they were trying to turn over large stones, hence the saying "There are shrimps behind the stones".
Because of that incident, I immediately lost track of time, and only realized it when the sun was almost setting,when I realized it, we immediately rushed home,what we were worried about was that when night fell, we would still be on the road.
Luckily we made it to a paved road before nightfall, but it was getting darker and the sun was looking more orange.
Yes, that was the excitement that I felt with my cousin and one of his friends on this short trip, I managed to give them satisfaction and happiness, I felt very happy to be able to do it.
