Good night to all my beloved hive friends ♥️
In this post I will share my experience when visiting a protected forest tourist destination in Langsa city, actually I have heard about the tourist spot for a long time, but only now I visited the place and it was my first visit. Today at exactly 12.00 noon, I took the time to travel alone to Langsa city, from my uncle's house, it only took me about 20 minutes to arrive at the center of Langsa city, upon arriving at the city center I immediately opened Google maps to search for the location of the protected forest tourist spot, after getting the location I immediately continued my journey there.
However, on the way to the protected forest, I stopped at several stalls to buy supplies that I needed such as food and drinks, because I did not know what the conditions were like in the protected forest tourist spot later, after preparing my equipment and supplies, I immediately headed there. Upon my arrival at the protected forest, I was immediately amazed because in this place there are so many different tourist destinations ranging from Acehnese traditional house tourist destinations, fun land holidays, camping areas, animal parks, water rides, flower gardens and there are several other tourist destinations, but at that time I chose to visit the Acehnese traditional house tourist destination first because the distance is not too far from the ticket purchase place.
Upon arriving at the traditional Acehnese house, I immediately parked my motorbike in the parking area provided there. The weather was very hot at that time, I couldn't hold back the sweat that came out of my body, but an amazing thing was already in front of my eyes, namely the traditional Acehnese house.
There are three traditional Acehnese houses in this area, but I chose to approach the smallest one first. The surroundings of this house also look very stunning, decorated with ornamental plants and green grass that act as a natural carpet. However, I'm not sure whether this is a traditional Acehnese house or just an ordinary hut, but judging by the shape and structure of the building, it is most likely also a traditional Acehnese house.
At that time, the number of visitors who came to this place was not too crowded considering that today was not a holiday, according to the officers there, this place would always be crowded with visitors on Sundays or other holidays. Luckily for me, I could explore almost every corner of this area without having to jostle with other visitors.
At that time, many visitors came to this place with their families, this was proven by the many small children playing around the traditional Acehnese houses, the distance between each of the three traditional Acehnese houses was also not too far, maybe only around 50 meters.
I don't know for sure how big this Acehnese house is, but of the three traditional Acehnese houses in this place, this house has the largest size, I also managed to capture the charm of this traditional Acehnese house from several different angles so that all my friends can also see the beauty of each architecture that this traditional Acehnese house has.
There are several things that make this traditional Acehnese house look quite special, starting from its architecture to the materials used. The house from Aceh has a rectangular shape from east to west, this house also has two floors and has a height of about 2 to 3 meters from the ground, the walls to the base are also made of wood but what is even more unique is the roof which is made of natural leaves woven into a roof.
On the first floor of this house, we can also see the pillars as the main foundation of the house, and on this first floor I also found several historical objects that may have had a very important function for life in the past.
One of them is a traditional wooden mortar, this object has a function to pound grains into fine powder or more precisely an object used to make flour, but I don't really understand how to do it, but what is certain is that this tool cannot be operated alone, for all my friends who know how to work this tool, please tell me in the comments below.
After being satisfied exploring the first floor of this traditional Acehnese house, now it's time for us to explore the second floor of this traditional Acehnese house.
In this Acehnese traditional house, we can see many historical collections that are still stored in this place, from some of the pictures above we can see some plates, bowls, and jars stored in glass cabinets, this is very natural considering that this is a historical heritage that must be maintained and must be preserved. It should be noted that the inside of this Acehnese house has a number of main rooms, the first room is called "Seuramoe Keu" this section plays an important role as a room for receiving guests, the second room is called "Seuramoe Teungeoh" this section is usually used as an area for bedrooms, the third room is called "Seuramoe Likot" I don't really remember the main function of this part, and there are many more important parts in the Acehnese traditional house such as the kitchen and a special section for storing goods, but in this visit I did not visit all parts because at that time there were some parts that were prohibited from entering because some were under renovation or repair.
This is the view that we can see inside the "Seuramoe Teungeoh" room or the middle room, there are several cups and saucers and also a mattress area at the end, this view reminds me of my visit to the museum in Banda Aceh city a few months ago, of course, the Banda Aceh city museum holds more stories and historical objects of Aceh.
Still in the living room I started to turn and walk towards the window, and around the window I also found several other antiques, all of which were also stored in glass cabinets so that their quality was well maintained, there was a statue that was deliberately placed behind the window, it made me curious to take a selfie with the statue, it sounds quite strange, but this is one way for me to entertain myself.
And here are some of the views that can be seen from this window, because many rooms are being repaired so I decided to immediately go down to the first floor again.
