Hello guys. I am here in this community with another very beautiful blog as you saw in the title that today I will show you the Nanga Parbat mountain range which is the ninth highest peak in the world and it is the second highest peak in Pakistan after K2 and K2 is also located in Gilgit Baltistan. When we were going from Chilas to Jaglot, we saw the board of this mountain range. The picture you are seeing below I took from the balcony of chilas hotel.
The weather in Chilas was hot, around 30 degrees Celsius, and one day ago when we were passing through Babu Sar Top, the temperature there was quite cold. There can be a difference in temperature in these mountainous areas. The sky was clear and we left for Jaglot after having breakfast at around 8 am. The travel was quite long, so we all wore comfortable clothes so that we would not feel tired during the travel.
You can see in the picture below when we were all sitting in the bus. All my friends had boarded the bus and I was at the end because I was trying to capture every movement because these are the special moments that stay with us forever.
I didn't get tired much while traveling because that day I got a chance to sit on the window seat and I enjoyed the view of the beautiful mountains around from the window and made many pictures and snaps. There were high mountains on one side of the road and very deep ravines on the other. The road was quite dangerous and long but the view of these mountains was also quite beautiful and I enjoyed the view of the mountains outside the window for hours.
After travelling for about two hours we reached the board of Nanga Parbat. This was not our main location but on the way we also got a chance to see this mountain range and this is our luck. You can see the board below and it tells about the Nanga Parbat mountain range. Nanga Parbat was called killer Mountain in the early days because people died while crossing it. It is not a single mountain it is a mountain range and its height is about 26,660 ft and it comes in the Western Himalayan range.
This is me and I was wearing a white shirt because the weather was quite hot and the sunlight was hitting my eyes. Below you can see that one of my friends was raising his hands upwards and taking picture. The mountains were quite high and these mountains were also like all the mountains of Gilgit but they are quite famous that is why everyone comes to click pictures at this location. Where my friend is standing and taking picture, everyone was taking pictures there but no one was clicking more than one or two pictures because the sun was very strong.
The pictures from my mobile's back camera are good but not so good from the front camera but this picture of mine is good and I am happy about it. Below you can see that I am holding a kulfi which is very famous and my favorite. It is not very expensive, it costs only 20 rupees. It is made of ice and has orange flavor. Eating kulfi in this hot weather was very enjoyable and now I was standing in the shadow because I did not want to stand in the sun anymore. Now our guide was gathering everyone so that we could leave here and reach our next destination on time.
When we boarded the bus, I took this picture from the other side. We must have spent maximum 40 minutes here because there was no greenery and the sun was very strong. It is a famous point that is why we stopped here for some time but the desire to see the mountain range of Nanga Parbat was fulfilled. I hope you liked my blog. Don't forget to give your feedback in my comment section. I will be waiting for your comments.
