Hi guys.
Today I will introduce to you a beautiful land in Vietnam, called KON TUM.
- Kon Tum is a province located in the north of the Central Highlands, Vietnam. There is Ngoc Linh mountain range with an altitude of more than 1000m, together with the endemic climate and many tribes living there, creating the beauty and mysterious nuances of this land.
- Kon Tum has 2 climate types: dry season and rainy season. People often choose the dry season to travel because it is relatively easy.
- I chose to go in the rainy season because this is the most beautiful season when the ripe golden terraced fields cover the Ngoc Linh mountain area.
- I departed from Ho Chi Minh City in the evening and arrived in Kon Tum City the next morning by bus.
- We visited the wooden church, a famous local religious architecture.
- Then I rented a motorbike and went to Mang Den, a beautiful little town located 50km north of the city.
- If you have ever been to Da Lat, you will feel familiar with the climate, but the scenery is deserted and a bit nostalgic. Many people say that Mang Den resembles Da Lat many years ago.
- The weather was not favorable, so We just stopped at Pa Sy waterfall.
- Then eat and drink and return to Kon Tum
- The next day we continued to explore the special part of the trip, the Ngoc Linh mountain area, the settlement of the Xe Dang, Ba Na,... deep in the Ngoc Linh nature reserve.
- This place in addition to the beautiful natural scenery, at the right time, we will admire the golden terraced fields, winding on the hills. Everything appears as a picture.
- This land is quite deserted and lacks services, so if you come here, be ready to sleep at local people's houses or make sure to go to Tu Mo Rong town or Ngoc Linh commune to rent a motel.
- The geographical position is quite high, so it's quite cold at night, so prepare warm clothes, raincoats when traveling, cash (not accepting payment via ATM cards here). A few sweets for local children is also a way to gain their sympathy.
- Because the motorbike ride is quite long and only has 3 days off, the next day we have to go back to Kon Tum and then get on a bus to go back to Ho Chi Minh City.
- If you have a lot of time, you can try conquering the top of Ngoc Linh mountain (2,598m high), visit Indochina junction (border of 3 countries Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia), charlie hill, Kon Tum suspension bridge...
- Kon Tum has an endemic beauty of thousands, of festivals after the harvest season, of gong culture and the cool air of the mountains and forests of the Central Highlands. All like an epic of land and people.
