A sunset at "Playa Zaragoza" in Margarita Island, Venezuela [ENG-ESP]

Hello Worldmappin community, I hope you are doing great. I'm Santi, and today I want to share with you something special that I experienced last week during the graduation celebration of a group of classmates from my school.

Although I'm not graduating yet (soon I will), I didn't hesitate to join this meaningful experience. It was too fine to see how this group of friends, after so many years of sharing friendships and crazy moments, was now closing an important chapter in their lives.

The energy of the reunion was too super from the first moment, with hugs and conversations that appeared as if time had never passed. We spent several days with that atmosphere that we wanted to party and enjoy a few days sharing as friends.

But without a doubt, what I liked the most, besides the valuable time with my friends, was the discovery of Playa Zaragoza. A place I will never forget.

The sand was white, fine and soft with that unique texture that you only find in unique places in the world. The sea left me impressed, its transparent and calm waters, with an intense turquoise color.

There were no strong waves or dangerous currents, it was like being in an infinite pool in that blue immensity called sea.

We all got into the water laughing non-stop, rediscovering the simple joy of playing like kids. We organized impromptu races, competed in diving and took lots of pictures to keep those moments of pure happiness shared with my friends.

After hours of fun, we sat down on the sand with that tiredness that only comes from a day well lived. It was then that the real show began.

The sky began its slow but impressive transformation. First, soft shades of yellow appeared. Then vibrant oranges stole the show, illuminating everything with a warmth that enveloped us.

In that pleasant moment, surrounded by the good conversation of my friends and the sound of the sea, everything was so beautiful that I felt a great happiness. It was one of those rare occasions where you clearly perceive the beauty of being alive, present and conscious in a perfect place.

If you are ever looking for a refuge to reconnect with the essence of nature, I highly recommend Playa Zaragoza. Located in the Pedro Gonzalez sector, Gomez Municipality, Nueva Esparta State, Venezuela.

This corner preserves the authenticity that many destinations have lost. Here you will not find huge tourist complexes or structures that break the landscape. Just a natural space of untouched white sand, crystal clear waters that reveal the seabed and skies that give sunsets as if it were a movie. What makes this place special is precisely its preservation. With no invasive developments, the beach maintains that perfect balance between accessibility and conservation.

You can walk long distances feeling the sand as you can also observe shorebirds in their natural habitat or just sit and meditate with the sound of the waves.

Hola comunidad de Worldmappin, espero que estén muy bien. Soy Santi, y hoy quiero compartirles algo especial que viví la semana pasada durante la celebración de graduación de un grupo de compañeros de mi colegio

Aunque todavía no me gradúo (pronto lo haré), no dudé en unirme a esta experiencia significativa. Fue demasiado fino ver cómo este grupo de amigos, después de tantos años compartiendo amistades y momentos de locura, ahora cerraba un capítulo importante de sus vidas.

La energía del reencuentro era demasiado súper desde el primer momento, con abrazos y conversaciones que aparecían como si el tiempo nunca hubiera pasado. Pasamos varios días con ese ambiente de que queríamos fiesta y disfrutar de unos días compartiendo como amigos

Pero sin duda, lo que más me gusto, además del valioso tiempo con mis amigos, fue el descubrimiento de Playa Zaragoza. Un lugar que jamás voy a olvidar.

La arena era blanca, fina y suave con esa textura única que solo encuentras en lugares únicos del mundo. El mar me dejó impresionado, sus aguas transparentes y tranquilas, con un color turquesa intenso.

No había olas fuertes ni corrientes peligrosas, era como estar en una piscina infinita por esa inmensidad azul llamada mar.

Nos metimos todos al agua riendo sin parar, descubriendo nuevamente la alegría sencilla de jugar como niños. Organizamos carreras improvisadas, competimos en clavados y nos tomamos muchas fotos para guardar esos momentos de pura felicidad compartida con mis amigos.

Después de horas de diversión, nos sentamos en la arena ya con ese cansancio que solo da un día bien vivido. Fue entonces cuando comenzó el verdadero espectáculo.

El cielo inició su transformación lenta pero impresionante. Primero aparecieron tonos suaves de amarillo. Luego los naranjas vibrantes se robaron el show, iluminando todo con una calidez que nos envolvía.

En ese momento tan agradable, rodeado de la buena conversación de mis amigos y el sonido del mar era todo tan bonito que sentí una felicidad muy grande. Era una de esas raras ocasiones donde percibes con claridad la belleza de estar vivo, presente y consciente en un lugar perfecto.

Si alguna vez buscan un refugio para reconectar con la esencia de la naturaleza, les recomiendo Playa Zaragoza con toda el alma. Ubicada en el sector Pedro González, Municipio Gómez, del estado Nueva Esparta en Venezuela.

Este rincón preserva la autenticidad que muchos destinos han perdido. Aquí no encontrarás complejos turísticos grandísimos ni estructuras que rompan el paisaje. Solo un espacio en estado natural de arena blanca e intacta, aguas cristalinas que revelan el fondo marino y cielos que regalan atardeceres como si se tratara de una película. Lo que hace especial a este lugar es justamente su preservación. Al no haber desarrollos invasivos, la playa mantiene ese equilibrio perfecto entre accesibilidad y conservación.

Puedes caminar largas distancias sintiendo la arena como también puedes observar aves playeras en su hábitat natural o simplemente sentarte a meditar con el sonido de las olas.
