I feel very happy when I want to tell you about my experience of spending holiday time with my husband in one of the cities in Aceh, namely the city of "Takengon" which is often called "The Land Above the Clouds".
Takengon is the capital of Central Aceh Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia. Takengon is located on the side of Lake Laut Tawar, Lut Tawar sub-district in the middle of Aceh province. Takengon is a plateau with cool air with an altitude of around 1200 m above sea level. There are many tourist attractions around Takengon, including Lake Laut Tawar in Laut Tawar sub-district, Bebesen sub-district and Kebayakan sub-district, Puteri Pukes Cave in Kebayakan sub-district and Pantan Terong in Bebesen sub-district.
One of the tourist attractions we visited while we were in Takengon city was Pantan Terong.
Pantan Terong is one of the hills in the Tanoh Gayo Takengon Plateau, Ulu Nuih village, Bebesen subdistrict, Central Aceh Regency. With a height of more than 1,800 meters above sea level. Pantan Terong has also become one of the icons of Central Aceh in the tourism sector.
Before arriving in Takengon City, we will first pass through the Bener Meuriah area if we travel via the Mount Salak road. And on this trip using motorbikes, we really enjoyed the views on every road we passed, the mountain views accompanied by community gardens there were quite soothing to the eyes.
We also passed one of the airplane airports in Bener Meuriah, namely Rembele Airport.
We really enjoyed the view there.
We also plan to go back there again for a holiday when we have free time.
