A pleasant place to spend a day off.
First of all, this place won’t meet our expectations just because it’s called a flower garden. Because honestly, I didn’t think there aren’t many flowers in this park. Sure it does have several type of flowers, but I was more attracted to the park’s layout. There’s a roundabout at the front area of the park and surrounded by shady trees where people can relax under it, as you can see below.
I came there on a sunny Sunday morning, and there were many people spending time in this park. It wasn’t too crowded, so I found the environment is still comfortable. Some people also seemed to be going alone, so they were sitting by themselves and enjoying the scenery after jogging.
This park isn’t particularly large, but it seems like people still can find a corner for themselves. There’s also a sort of community hanging out in this park. I think it's like a martial arts club or something like that, so they were doing outdoor practices, which seemed really fun. Sunday, as we had a day off, is a great time to catch up with family, friends, and loved ones.
Although it doesn’t always feel that way for everyone, I find that even just spending time relaxing alone like how many people do in this park, and not constantly thinking about being productive, is a productive way to approach “productive day” in itself. If that make sense.
And I don’t how what about this garden that somehow feels more peaceful in its own way. There are some areas where there weren’t too many people around, where you can touch the grass, and relax under the blue sky. It’s a simple activity, but it makes us appreciate our surroundings a little bit more.
Moreover, although there aren’t many flowers, but they grow scattered throughout the park, so we can see some flowers in every corner. I’ve shared these photos before—a flower with a bee, but I still don’t know what kind of flower it is. However, just managed to capturing them in one frame was good enough for me😁
That concludes my quick stop at Merjosari Flower Garden. Exploring a free park like this on a day off is somehow interesting enough to become a habit😁
Thanks for reading! Have a great day, hivers!
