A beautiful place with stunning view.
Over the past year, this park has become one of the most popular parks in my city. Located in West Surabaya, Graha Natura is free to enter, but we have to entrust our identity card. I don’t understand why they implement this system, but that’s how it is. This is my second time visiting this park, and I find that some people also like to picnic here.
That’s because the park is quite spacious, so there are several corners where we can lay out a picnic mat and just relaxing to enjoy the atmosphere. This park is actually located next to a cafe. So if you visit the cafe, I think you don’t need to entrust your identity card, because the park is like the backyard of the cafe.
I personally never tried to go to the cafe, never really interested, but also because when I first visited this park, there are some employees said something that made me uncomfortable, it was like a cat-call but more annoying (perhaps they were talking from the kitchen or something, so I couldn’t see their faces).
Anyway, what I like the most about this park is that some areas somehow feels mysterious yet magical at the same time. This might be just an ordinary thing for some people, but I personally quite like the layout of this park.
I’ve written earlier that the park is quite large, but now that I think about it, it’s not really that big lol🤣 I mean, it probably take 10 minutes to walk around the area haha, but because the nice atmosphere, I’m pretty sure it will makes us walk slower to fully enjoy it.
There's a lake in the middle of this park, with a red bridge as you can see below. I really wish I can captured it better because some people on the internet be able to shot a magical footage showing the lake area with the swans roaming around. First time I visited this park, I remember there were quite a lot of swans, but last time I don’t think I saw them that many.
The bridge is one of people’s favorite photo spots, I guess. We can stand in the middle of it and have the entire lake as a background photo haha. With the presence of pretty big plant in the middle, of course it adds a nice touch and beautiful impression to the overall view of this park.
I think when we talk about parks, we can never left out the playground area. Although they're not large and don't have many rides, almost every park provides a playground area for children to have fun. With its primary colors of red and yellow, the playground area at Graha Natura Park blends perfectly with the surrounding greenery, make this area full of color.
I went to this park in the afternoon, and I tried to catch the sunset as well. When I arrived, it was still pretty sunny, but the clock showed that the sun was about to set. So I waited. Many people also still there as the sun began to set. I guess they didn't want to miss the beauty of the sunset.
Unfortunately, I don’t remember if I left early or something, because this below was one of the last pictures I took and it wasn’t as beautifull as how I expected haha but overall it was a good time to take a leisurely stroll while waiting for the day to pass. That was a moment to remember.
Thanks for reading as always! Upvote and reblog is appreciated :) have a great day, hivers!
