hello hives its me again jenie for todays blog I want to share with you our trip to mantayupan falls in barili we didnt have work at that time so my coworkers and I decided to go out it was almost 40 kilometers to get there and the weather wasnt greatit kept raining but since we were in the mood to explore still went with jepoy jeffrey raffy and his friends we rode motorcycles on the way there.
we left early and arrived at mantayupan at around 830 am even though it was already 7 am when we started we were a bit wet from the rain though we didnt mind our goal was to swim so when we got there i was amazed by how peaceful the place was we parked paid 20 pesos and then went in immediately.
we went in right away and paid 30 pesos each for the entrance fee we also rented life jackets which cost 50 pesos each they said it was not allowed to enter the falls without a life jacket because it was for our safety the place was beautiful and serene and despite the rain earlier the place felt calming i couldnt stop taking pictures because everything looked so picturesque it was such a great experience and i felt entirely at peace especially with the sound of the water crashing down.
jepoy was so excited so he immediately grabbed a life jacket and started walking towards the falls i didnt know that we had to cross a hanging bridge to get to the falls and i was really scared im not good with heights and the bridge was swaying as we walked across it made me nervous but i didnt want to miss out on the experience so i pushed through my fear while we were crossing
i made sure to capture the moment on photo you can see in the video how shaky and wobbly the bridge was it felt like i was walking in the air and i was holding on tightly to the ropes despite my fear the view around the bridge was beautiful with the river flowing below after crossing we were finally close to the falls and my excitement grew even more as we got closer to the water
when we got closer to the falls we were greeted by a sign that said i love mantayupan falls it looked terrific and i was genuinely amazed by the place it was so peaceful there with no noise at all you almost feel a bit scared because of how giant the trees are and how tall the falls are the towering trees made the place look even more majestic and the sound of the water falling was calming yet powerful it felt like natures raw beauty surrounded us the air was fresh and the view was just breathtaking i couldnt help but feel small amid all that beauty i was in awe of how nature created such a wonderful and peaceful spot it made me appreciate the simplicity and power of the natural world and i knew this place was something special that i would never forget
after we took some pictures jepoy was so excited to swim we took more photos when we got closer to the falls and then he jumped right into the water he thought the water would be like the sea calm and plain but he quickly complained because there were so many rocks in the water the rocks made it difficult to move around
and the water was much more profound than he expected he wasnt ready for how deep it was which surprised him the water was cold too making swimming even more challenging despite the rocks and the cold he still enjoyed the experience we all took turns swimming and exploring the area but we had to be careful because of the rocks and the current even though it wasnt exactly what we expected the adventure was fun and we ended up laughing about it
after almost 3 hours of soaking in the water we decided to head back to the canteen to eat and then go home our experience at mantayupan falls was amazing its a must-visit place the scenery is beautiful i promise this is all for today thank you for reading this blog guys see you on the next adventure, God bless bye-bye muhugs!!
