I'm here today to share some amazing glimpse of my visit to Pondicherry, a Union Territory of India.
My journey started with me and my 3 friends taking a bus from banglore, a city in karnataka to pondicherry late at around 8.30 pm after we got free from our semester exam.
We took normal sitting bus not a Sleeper and it was a whole night journey, we were supposed to reach there early in the morning at around 6 am.
We booked hotel right next to the sea and hoping that I will feel really amazing even after the whole night of study before leaving and whole day of examination pressure, then eventually whole night of traveling in bus I was really tired. And I could ask for after getting off the bus was a good sleep and as soon as I got off the bus I suddenly felt a warm flow of air moving all over my body, I was earlier in AC bus and it had a pleasant temperature but as soon as i got off the bus the temperature rose around 10 degree up and sleep plus sweating is deadly combination I got cranky.
I opened my phone to book cab but then to my ultimate surprise I got to know that this place doesn't have any ola Uber type services and we are totally dependent on the local auto rickshaw for traveling from one place to another and with their monopoly they were asking for a very vague price, totally unreasonable plus considering the fact that all of us were from north India and that city was in core south India we were totally foreigners for them and they were not at all open to bargain.
Atlast we hoped into two auto rickshaw as we had huge luggage because we were fully packed to go home after completion of our training program and this was our pitstop on the way. I was cranky and annoyed and sweating the whole time, I had no desire to explore the location which I was planning alot to go to for past 2 months. After a struggle of moving around the city for around an hour we finally reached to our hotel which was right next to the sea. That after getting of the vehicle i directly saw the sea which was just 50 meters away from the place the rickshaw dropped us and without even unloading my luggage I started walking towards the sea and all of my tiredness, annoyance vanished into the thin air and I didn't even realized it. It was mesmerizing and the strange part is I could not look away from the sea. Somewhat like hypnosis.
