Hello Everyone! Promising you the Alamada travel blog series where I published the first blog here in @pinmapple showcasing the mystical beauty of Asik-asik Falls, please consider this as our second destination of our Alamada stroll, featuring picturesque attractions on this province. With the stunning view of the long road trail of Alamada, even before reaching our destination, we will be overwhelmed with stunning sceneries.
Road trip has never been this cool seeing the non-stop mountain ranges of Mindanao accompanying our travel. But of course, on every journey, even how enjoyable it may be, we must have our stop- our destination. On this blog, I will be taking you to the roadside destinations of Alamada, just perfect for family and friends for a weekend trip and gate away.
The Tent City of Alamada
The Tent City is the most common destination in Alamada, Cotabato, not only with tourists but as well as motorists. It was called the “Tent City” as this garden-mountain-resort offers accommodations in a tent shape, as well as they offer tents accommodations for their guests who want to experience camping on the mountain top.
Situated on a one-step before-the-sky place, the Tent City boasts its scenic mountain view showcasing the beauty of Alamada Mountains and its neighboring provinces. Matched with man-made gardens, it entices everyone to visit and have a cup of coffee to their place, to relax and unwind, and be one with nature.
People nowadays, living with the influence of social media, good photographic corners have become a standard to visit a destination or attraction. Well, the standard has been served here, as it has structures built around the premise that serves as a photo-session-props and backgrounds.
Relatively, the Tent City has gone viral in social media after people checked out the place after seeing good-looking photos of their friends on their feeds.
We also joined the trend! We had so much fun with my cousins and my friend, An, strolling around and taking good pictures, just perfect to update our social media feeds 😊

Good enough, Tent City is also a stop-over spot for the motorist who goes on road trip and rides. Its wall on the entrance has even filled with stickers of the different riding groups.
And oops! I also love their local coffee, and the way they serve it, is you do your mix! Which An and I enjoyed stirring up our cup of caffeine, just perfect for warming us in this cold place.
NARAGANSETT HILL
After checking out the Tent City, we head down the road to spend a night in the accommodation I have reserved for the pack. However, we found a gated premise that seems like a privately-owned place with a hill that caught our eyes with a kiosk standing in the middle that says its name.
Looking from the road, it seems that it is an excellent spot to check out, too. So, Kuya Erlan, my cousin, stopped the car and we disembarked. And so, we have discovered that it is another spot that has been developed to be opened as another tourist attraction.
We just spent a little time in this place, but just enough for us to see the sun setting through the mountains to end up the day. It is cool for picnics and grills with family and friends, and it has a grill standing by the kiosk waiting for the BBQ of its future guests.
CAMP HEAVEN
After checking out online that Camp Heaven mountain resort have a more competitive overnight accommodation rate than any of the mountain resorts in Alamada, we decided to book a reservation and spend a night here. It is also situated just along the Alamada road which made it so accessible to anyone who want to stay a night in Alamada.
We took our dinner outside with the chilly temperature of the evening, as expected.
The mountain resort has been lighted up all throughout the premise with its photobooth corners, so An and I decided to take a night stroll, to check out the place.
And so we found some good spots perfect for pictures, so our photo session continues through the night. Look how the lightning on the outer side participated in the pictorial!
Waking up the next day, we have seen its beauty through the light of the day.
Camp Heaven has a spacious premise which I love strolling around through its gardens and hill with the background of the other side of Alamada’s mountain ranges. It is also good for retreats and camping activities, which they also accept retreats events, as the owner of the mountain resort is a religious icon.
We had a great nature stay in Camp Heaven for a room rate of around ₱2,000 (around $37) to accommodate all of us over night, it's not a fancy room but it's comfortable.
COCO FUNVILLE
Saving the best for last, this nature park in Alamada is giving the Philippines a New Zealand / Switzerland feels.
Coco Funville houses different farm animals from cow to goats to sheep and ducks, and others. It is also converted into nature park where guests may enjoy strolling around the farm park.
Coco Funville offers different activities that guests and tourists may enjoy during their visit. It has a lake inside the premise that everyone may enjoy boating, it has another lake too that carries gorgeous ducks that guests may enjoy feeding them.
It has a café, too, to feed the hungry guests after strolling around, and the favorite of all is the barn, the highlight of the farm-park, giving it the New Zealand feels.

Inside the barn are the goats and some sheep that guests may feed for an experience. It was so cool that even our cute little boy, CD enjoyed it!
This stroll has given me a one-of-a-kind experience, another highlight of my lifetime adventure. Thank you for strolling with me today, I guess this would be my last entry for the Alamada travel blog series, but I'll be opening a Mindanao Travel Blog Series on my next blog.
