EXPLORE GAMPLONG STUDIO ALAM, YOGYAKARTA Feel Like You're Back in the Past! đŹâ¨
Hey, travel lovers!
I'm back again, Tina!
The girl who can't stay still when she sees an exciting place, yuhuuu đ
Oh ya, have you ever thought about what it would be like to go back in time? Well, this trip made me feel that vibe, and the place is... STUDIO GAMPLONG!
This awesome studio isnât just an ordinary tourist spotâitâs also the filming location for some amazing Indonesian movies, including one of my all-time favorites: Habibie & Ainun! You know the one? Wow, can you imagine how epic it is?
After a fairly long journey from Jakarta (and a few wrong turns because we were too busy chatting, hehe), I finally arrived at Studio Gamplong in Yogyakarta. As soon as I entered⌠wow, it felt like being sucked into a time machine!
The old buildings here truly evoke nostalgia. There are wooden houses, red brick walls without plaster in the Dutch colonial style, narrow streets intentionally made to look old-fashioned, complete with shop signs, tall wooden windows, and paint intentionally faded to enhance the âvintage vibes.â
I fell in love with the mini train station and the old-fashioned cars that make you feel like youâre in a historical film. Thereâs also a Javanese noblemanâs house, an old post office, vintage payphones, and even a mini prisonâand guess what? We can go inside to see the interiors too! Itâs really so much fun, it feels like weâre really living in that era!
And you know, whatâs the most thrilling part? The haunted house!
At first, I was confident going in, but once inside⌠I swear, it was genuinely scary! đ
Especially when suddenly a âghostâ popped out from behind the doorâI immediately ran out screaming! Unfortunately, we werenât allowed to take photos or videos inside, so⌠the horror experience is only stored in my mind, not in my phone gallery, haha.
In conclusion, Studio Gamplong isnât just a place for aesthetic photos. Here, it really feels like walking through an old town thatâs still alive. Itâs perfect for me or you who love photography, history, or just want to find a different atmosphere, something off the beaten path, hehe.
Honestly ... I canât say much more, cause you really need to come here to experience it yourself. Remember this, okay? You absolutely must stop by here if youâre in Jogja. And donât forget to bring extra energy, haha, because there are so many spots to explore! And get readyâyou might just leave feeling like youâve been reborn into the past, awesome! đ
