INDROKILO BOTANICAL GARDENS, BOYOLALI The Excitement of Electric Bikes, Unique Spots, and Relaxing Coffee ☕️✨
Hi Travel Lovers...
Back to my blog again, I'll share something exciting, check it out...
Last month, my friends and I decided to relax at the Indrokilo Botanical Gardens in Boyolali. Initially, we wanted to go to the town square, but something felt missing, so we decided to go to the Indrokilo Botanical Gardens. Upon arrival, we went straight to the ticket counter and paid for the Rp. 5,500 ticket per person, which was really cheap, haha.
WELCOMED BY A BRIDGE AND AN ELECTRIC BIKE
After entering the first gate, we were immediately greeted by a calm river, and my friend and I immediately took a picture on the bridge, haha. Upon entering the garden area, we were offered bicycles for rent, both manual and electric. So, to keep us from getting too tired from riding around, we rented an electric bike. At Rp. 25,000 for 30 minutes, it was more than enough to get around, and it was the best decision of the day! Hahaha
PASINGSINGAN GATE
With the electric bike in hand, let's step on the gas so we don't waste time. woozzzz... we were immediately greeted by a large white gate, resembling a royal gate. This gate is called GAPURA PESINGSINGAN. It looks truly majestic, with a fountain in the middle. We circled around once and then continued on to our next destination. 🛵
NOAH'S ARK
Along the way, we were treated to gardens and shady trees, making it very cool until we finally arrived at Noah's Ark. From afar, it looked truly majestic. Its shape was unique, like a large wooden ship parked in the middle of a green park. "It felt like we were in an adventure movie!" said Ka Tika. 😋
THE LEGENDARY KUNTI TREE
Next, we looked for the Kunti Tree, hihiii. I thought it would be scary because its name sounds like a ghost, but it turns out this tree is called kunti because it has a tall, thick, climbing shape. Well, this tree is from a unique photo spot. Ka Tika once said, "Wow, this vibes like a forest in a horror movie but the aesthetic version,". At first I was confused about which tree it was, but it turned out to be right in front of my eyes, hahaa .. I immediately captured it on my camera. 📸
MOUNTAIN LABYRINTH

Next ... We headed to the mountain labyrinth. You know what? It was so much fun! We split up on purpose to make it more interesting, and as usual, Tika, the leader, got lost first. "Hey... I think this is a dead end, haha" She said with an embarrassed laugh. Meeting in the middle of the labyrinth was the funniest moment of the day, hahha.
SOSRO BIROWO STATUE
After the labyrinth, we passed a huge statue, towering tall and imposing. We stopped for a while, taking photos from various angles. Tika even said, "This looks like a botanical garden keeper, huh? His face is so serious." We were truly amazed. 😍
A DRY-UP WATERFALL
Well, this was our main destination, but unfortunately, the iconic artificial waterfall here was completely dry. But that didn't stop us from taking silly photos, like "calling for rain," haha. Even though there was no running water, this spot was still a great photo backdrop. And another funny thing, you know? When Tika wanted to wash her hands, instead of water coming out of the faucet, it sprayed out from below. It made us laugh nonstop, hahah .. It's really funny moments! 🤣
HANGING OUT AT A COFFEE SHOP NEAR THE LOKET
After being exhausted from walking around and laughing non-stop, we finally decided to head home. But before we left, we stopped by a Coffee Shop near the Loket. The place was simple but cozy, perfect for a break. While we had coffee and snacks, we scrolled through the photos we'd taken earlier and recounted the funny stories from earlier. 😆
CONCLUSION
That day was truly exciting. Indrokilo Botanical Gardens has many interesting spots, and the electric bikes made the trip more relaxed and fun. From the majestic Noah's ark, the unique Kunti tree, the labyrinth that makes getting lost fun, the majestic Sosro Birowo statue, to hanging out at a coffee shop before heading home—all of these were experiences that made me happy and worth repeating. I'll be back next time the waterfall is overflowing. 💦
