Have you ever heard of Mount Sinabung? Mount Sinabung is Mount Merapi which is still active to this day, and even eruptions often occur, so that many people who live at the foot of Mount Sinabung fled to safe places, even from the remains of their possessions, they started buying land and rebuilding what they had. Gilang, because almost 90 percent of the population here lives on agriculture and plantations. Mount Sinabung is located in Karo Regency, North Sumatra Province, precisely in Indonesia, and now this place is starting to be looked at by foreign tourists because of its beautiful place, free from air pollution, friendly people, fresh air and enchanting natural views. It's all in this place.
It's been 6 months since I've crossed these mountains, even though before every week I always passed these mountains for a little touring with my wife to ride our motorbike, the focus was to get fresh air and get rid of boredom because of our busy work. After 6 months, I just continued my journey to the foot of Mount Sinabung and it turns out there have been some slight changes in this place where now many small cafés with natural nuances have been established in this place so that these cafés besides selling our food and drinks We will also get a free live painting that we can immediately enjoy its beauty.
What you see behind me is the view of Mount Sinabung, from where I took this photo to the center of the foot of Mount Sinabung, it's actually not far, we only need to ride a motorbike for about 30 minutes. However, driving skills are really needed to come to the foot of Mount Sinabung behind me. Next time I will show you my way. 6 months ago the place where I took this photo was still an uninhabited grassland, but now as you can see The land owner has built a cafe in this place to beautify it for the many photo spots for visitors here. Flowers are also starting to be planted, and there is also a camping site available here which is usually always busy on Saturdays and Sundays with fairly cheap rates.
In this place, small huts have also been built for those who want to relax without being hot and place their belongings. And don't be afraid of starving because in this place you can also order food and drinks at affordable prices, there are also public toilets that are clean and the water is always flowing.
And to come to this place you don't need a lot of money to enter, the parking fee is free, the huts that we can choose as we wish are also free, because everything is free so we have to order food or drinks at this place with prices starting from Rp. 5000 up to Rp. 25,000 per portion or if the exchange rate is correct, the prices listed start from 0.315 U$ dollars to 1.575 U$ dollars. The price is quite cheap and definitely affordable, right? For those of you who want to enjoy the view at the foot of the mountain without having to climb and expend a lot of energy. Hopefully in the future I will be able to share my moments right at the foot of Mount Sinanbung.
There are also several coffee trees around which I saw that the fruit was still young. Next time I will come here again and get some coffee beans if the fruit is old. In some time this place will definitely be more beautiful because I saw a small flower garden that had just been planted but had not yet flowered.
Mount Sinabung is actually still very active, because it still often emits volcanic ash and occasionally erupts, but at the moment it was still safe when I came there. That's the story about how I went to the foot of Mount Sinabung, thank you for reading my blog. Don't forget to follow me and leave your comments to build me up so that I can be better at my work.
