First time in Jerusalem, accommodation, local food, the hustle and bustle of Jerusalem's streets and visiting the Jaffa Gate, Israel
Hello everyone, I hope you are well and I from here in western Romania send you my best wishes.
In a previous post I told you that I intended to write about the experience I had in Israel, but at that time I did not have the strength and concentration to write even a few words, taking into account the unpleasant events taking place in this country even at the time of writing this post.
I'll try to get over everything I hear on TV (although it's pretty hard) and try to show you one of the best experiences I've had since I've been traveling.
How did we get here?
The answer is simple, by plane, which is the fastest and most convenient way to get here.
This is the entrance to Otopeni Airport in the Romanian capital, Bucharest.
And we arrived at Ben Gurion airport in Israel.
In our travels that we had in Israel we used public transport, which works very well, we used mainly trams and buses for trips outside the city.
In order to use public transport we bought a card on which we loaded money and in two seconds we were ready to explore the city.
First of all let me show you some pictures of the accommodation we had in Jerusalem, I can say that the accommodation was in a central area on Jaffa street, a two bedroom apartment where for a few days we had a very good time.
Let's go a little further to show you the first contact with traditional food, yes I'm not used to any other kind of food than the Romanian one, just kidding, I'm always open to try new things and yes Israeli food is sensational, especially the traditional one.
Now comes the most exciting part for me and that is exploring the city, so we found ourselves in a big city, where I at least felt a wonderful vibe I was looking forward to meeting.
Do you like French fries?
Oh yes here you will find lots of spicy fries with lots of spices, from experience I can tell you they are sensational (yes I know they are not good for cholesterol but at least satisfy your cravings once in a while).
After tasting those sensational fries we head towards one of the eight gates of the city of Jerusalem, the Jaffa Gate, completed in 1538.
But before we got there we took a few more pictures.
Passing under this gate, it seems as if we have already entered another world, another dimension (these are strictly my feelings), the first thing we did was to go to the tourist information center to get more information.
The people at the tourist information centre were very nice and the information they provided was very useful.
I let you see at the end the "bustle" on the narrow streets of Jerusalem because this is also part of its culture, and through these places again I felt some feelings of excitement, even if around us the army shows its presence I never felt in danger.
There is something special about these people, if by any chance among those who visit my post there are people who have visited Jerusalem, please write me in the comments what was your feeling being here, I am really curious for other opinions about this place and this country.
Let me show you some night pictures from here.
Today's post has come to an end, I hope I have managed to show you yet another wonderful place that I recommend to be visited, but not today in these troubled times, I also recommend you to wait until the situation there is clarified.
If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.
P.S. The attached pictures you have just seen are taken by me with my mobile phone(and the combined picture is also made with the phone), and the text is also designed by me.
Yours @triplug😉
